Indicolite

He nearly falls asleep as they keep laying and cuddling. But he gets distracted. His phone starts ringing. Armin looks confused and tired as he reaches to his phone pretty fast. He reads the name, it's Carly. He sighs and let's go of Annie to sit on the other side of the bed. He picks up the call and talks in a quiet way.
"Hello?"
"Armin! Where are you disappearing lately? Are you okay?"
"Carly don't worry, I am... I am safe."
"So you will come back?"
"Yes, don't worry. I am absolutely fine. "
"Good, I was so worried because you leave that often lately and stay away for nights...wait...dont tell me you are at HERS. Are you having sex with her, huh? "
Armin starts blushing very much and bites his lips.
"I...um... Carly I told you, I will explain it later to you. See you soon."
Armin hangs up and breaths deeply in. Damn...how did she know? OK, that must be pretty logical. It's not like he has much friends at college who live in another place than the students flats.
As he strokes back his messy hair he notices a figure sitting on the bed. He turns his face to the person and sees that it's Annie who is already awake and probably heard his call. As Armin looks at her his heart beats faster. Her view. Messy hair, shoulders exposed, chest covered by the blanket. She's looking at him. Kinda peaceful and...a little worried?
It's quiet for a while until she dares to break the ice by her soft deep and quiet voice.
"Your girlfriend?", she asks, pretty calmed.
"No it's my roommate at college. She's just worried where I am", he says, very calmed too as he looks at her. She nods.
"Then you shouldn't make her worry any longer."
Armin watches Annie. What is this view? Even though she's calm Armin feels something more behind her words. What could it be?
Armin decides to lean back to her carefully and slowly. He grabs gently after her cold fingers which become a little warmer in his warm hands.
"I prefer staying for a longer while, with you, Annie", he says in a very soft and gentle way which makes her watch him even more intense. A very tiny smile appears on her lips as she looks at their hands and back into his eyes.

I must apologize for the long break and this short chapter. Since life became too busy I couldn't keep up anymore. Maybe I will add more chapters in the future, but so far, let this be an open end for you. Thank you all for your support and your interest in my story. I really appreciate that.
