Aria's POV
I'm so angry. They need to stay out of my business. I'll tell them when I want to. They cannot force me. Besides, I am a lot stronger than them....
Anyway, when I walk inside everyone is staring at me, once again.
"What?" I huff. They are all really getting on my nerves.
"Nothing" they all simultaneously. Right.
"Whatever. I'm going out to the woods." I jump up, only to be stopped by Edward.
"What Edward?" I roll my eyes. He needs to leave me alone. They all do.
He looks taken back at my tone, but says, "They woods are dangerous. There are wolves"
I almost laugh. As If a wolf could hurt me. "Yea I think I can take care of myself." He lets go and I jog outside before sprinting to the woods.
EMBRYS POV
Aria's attitude is really weird. especially towards Seth. I mean, they're best friends. And she's never stayed mad at him longer than a day before.
When she hurt Jacob, we all heard the crack. It was weird. A little human cant hurt us.
When she ran outside, and Jake came in Edward told him he broke his shoulder. How? I have no idea.
"Embry, phase and go keep an eye on Aria. We don't want any bloodsuckers getting her." Jake orders. Why me?
I phase and run outside to look for Aria, she is a toughie to find because I can't smell her anymore.
When I finally do find her, she's outside in a tiny meadow thing next to a bush on fire. And she's smiling.
Is she a psychopath or something?
The fire goes out and is perfectly green. Nothing is burnt. She's starts to laugh and I step forward a bit making a sound to low for human ears. She snaps her head this way and walks towards me. I phase back putting on my shorts in a new record time. She sees me and has this angry look on her face.
"Embry. What. Are you. Doing. Here?" She shouts
"I just, uh,-" I can't really say oh I'm a wolf and had to check on you.
"Yea. No reason right? Or jake doesn't think I can handle myself?!" She gets louder clenching her hands into fists.
"No that's no-"
"I can handle myself! I don't need protection anymore!" A patch of flowers start on fire and the grass starts to singe.
"Aria, what are you doing?" I motion to the grass and she stops covering her mouth. The fire stops.
"Ari, did you do that?" I ask calmly even though I'm freaking out on the inside.
"I, uh, yea?" She stutters.
"How?" I ask firmer.
"Nothing." She whispers. "DON'T tell anyone!" She shouts.
"Why not?!" I don't even know whats happening.
"Because just because you all can have secrets, doesn't mean I can't have some too. Don't tell." She warns before she's gone.
