SETH

It's been a week since Aria came back. We haven't talked about the kiss, or about well, us.
We haven't actually talked much at all, now that I think of it.
But since she's back for good, I've been thinking of telling her about the imprinting.
Only, every time I try to get alone with her to tell, we're interrupted or I freak out and decide not to.
I mean, how are you supposed to tell someone that you're in love with them and always will be and you're meant to be together forever when you're only barely seventeen?

It's a lot harder than it might sound.

I snapped out of my thoughts and remembered I was in the Cullen's living room with Aria's hand slightly touching mine.
It sent a weird feeling all around me.
Edward was across the room laughing at me, raising an eyebrow, causing my face to heat up.
I heard something drop in the kitchen, and Alice ran out to Edward.
"Did you see?" She asked Edward.
He nodded stiffly and they both glanced at Aria.
"It might not even happen. You know my visions aren't always one hundred percent accurate," Alice hushed quickly.
"He'll make it happen," Edward growled.
"What's going on?" Aria questioned, standing up slowly.
"It seems you'll be having a visitor," Edward answered.
"Really? Who?"
Before he could answer, there were three loud knocks on the door below us.
"I guess he's here already."

ARIA

I walked downstair to find Carlisle and Esme talking to someone in a black cloak with red lining.
"Hello Aria," the person greeted, turning to me.
My curiosity turned into excitement and I immediately ran to hug him.
"Alec," I smiled. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to visit you, of course. It's been so long, and I missed you," he said.
"Well let's go upstairs. I want to inform the others you aren't here to kill anyone," I said and we linked arms and walked up.
"Everyone, look who came to visit," I announced as we approached the top step. Alec gave a small smile to those in the room.
"Alec," Jasper gave him a nod. "What brings you to Forks?"
"Back in Italy when Aria was with us, we became very close and I came to see her," he nudged me.
I could tell everyone had forced a smile.
"Why don't we leave you two alone to catch up?" Esme broke the silence.
Everyone began to get up and leave, but Edward and Seth had been exchanging looks like they were having a silent conversation and Seth didn't look very pleased.
"That means you two, too," Esme said to them.
Seth got up slowly, eyeing Alec up and down and glanced at me, making eye contact. Edward pushed him out of the room giving Alec a deadly glare.
"I don't think the dog likes me," Alec laughed dryly.
"Don't take it personally. He is a shapeshifter after all," I tried to reassure him, but I knew Seth wasn't like that. He liked vampires.
"He likes you, tho," he raised an eyebrow. "He's quite protective of you."
"We've been friends our whole lives. We're practically family."
"Just friends?" He asked, with a corner of his mouth rising.
"Just friends." I nodded, only I didn't like saying it.
"Enough about the dog-"
"Seth," I corrected.
"Okay. Enough about Seth. You know, things in Italy haven't been the same since you left," Alec smiled lightly.
"How so?"
"It feels empty. As if we lost something special, something wonderful, in that dark castle," he said while turning to face me.
"I was only there for a year, Alec," I rolled my eyes trying hard not to blush.
"And that year was one of the best in my entire life," his voice got quieter. "Come back to Italy. Join the Voultori again. We need you."
"You've all been doing fine. You can't possibly need me," I said, attempting to sound much less shocked than I really was with his offer.
"So maybe we don't need you. But I do," his voice was now at a whisper and he took a step closer to me so we were inches apart.
"You what?" My voice quavered unknowing of what else to say.
"I need you Aria. I can't even describe how I feel when I'm around you." We were only an inch apart now. Closer than I've ever been with him.
"You know what I've always wanted to do?" He breathed quietly.
"What?" I asked nervously, a feeling I've never had around Alec, so it was quite different.
Without answering, he simply pulled in closer and kissed me.
It was soft and slow and seemed to go on forever.
He didn't let go until we heard a loud crash from the other room. Breaking the kiss, I looked over to the door, where Seth stood statue still with an expression I couldn't read.

SETH

A few minutes after I walk out of the room, a ripping, burning pain shoots through my chest.
Wait.
Aria.
What if Alec hurt her? At that last thought my mind blanks and all I think about is Aria. Sprinting away from the group of vampires and werewolves now gathered inside the small room, I'm quickly stopped.
Something cold and stone hard grabs my arms and hold them behind me so that I can't run any farther. Whichever bloodsucker it is, is really strong. Probably Emmet. But that doesn't matter now. All I know is that I need to save Aria.
Wrenching my arms from the strong grasp, I sprint towards the house and through the door. Emmet starts chasing me until Sam shouts, "Stop. Let him go, he needs her."
Panting, my eyes leave the ground and are met with the worst sight imaginable. Aria is literally making out with Alec. How could she do this to me? My mine starts wandering all over until it's interrupted by another heart wrenching pain tearing through my body.
For what feels like a lifetime, I stand there, staring as my world falls apart. But, when Aria breaks away and looks me straight in the eye, I can't take the pain anymore. Falling to the floor I gasp for breath until Aria rushes over to me and holds me, tears in her eyes. "S-seth. I'm so s-sorry."
"Well you should be," I shout at Aria with no remorse. She has hurt me so many times, it's her turn to feel the pain.
"What do you mean?" she asks, with wide eyes.
Alec walks over and rips Aria away. "Yeah. What do you mean? Just because you have this intense feeling of, I don't know friendship, anger towards her doesn't mean you can do this to Aria. You don't know how she feels about you. What if she loves me. DOG!" Alec shouts the last word.
Not believing the events going on, I begin to shake, feeling my wolf take over. I am going to kill that dirty bloodsucker.
"She doesn't love you and she never will. Do you know why? Because I'm sure you are wondering why I keep coming back, only to get my heart broken by you. Yet again," I shout turning to Aria.
Looking at her shell shocked face, I continue my rant. "It's because your my imprint. You can't love that dirty bloodsucker or anyone else for that matter. Even if you tried. I'm made for you, and you for me. So don't try to deny it."
You know that you hurt someone you love when you can see the raw pain in their eyes. And I'm the one who caused it.
And that is what I see when I come out of my rant. Aria's eyes are a mix of anger, love, heartbreak, and pain. A pain that was killing me to know I made he feel that way.
Did I just do that to her? How could I hurt her like that? She's going to deny my imprint. I just know it.
