Embry imprinted on Grace? My new best friend?
"Embry! Im so happy for you!" I pull him into a hug. Grace is going to freak.
"Thanks but, why do you smell like vampire?"
Damn.
I just move my hair away from my neck and they nod their heads.
"Cool! was it the one we've been chasing?" Quil walks up touches the scar.
"Ya, he was weird tho. It hurt really bad" i say smacking his hand away.
The sound of the door opening interrupts us, and the last person I wanted to see walks in.
Seth.
He he obviously notices the new scar.
And he starts to shake.
"What. is. that?"
My hand shoots its way up to the scar to cover it. The coldness sends chills up my spine.
Something in Seth's voice almost makes me scared of him.
Almost.
"Its just a vampire bite I got earlier"
His eyes shoot to the scars on my arms.
and with that, he's gone almost breaking the door.
SETH
I was going to Jake's to talk to Billy, but something felt weird.
I dont know if it was a good or bad weird tho.
But when i walked in, Aria was there. I looked at her, she looked beautiful. No matter how much I say I don't like her, I can't say she isn't beautiful.
And then I saw the scar.
I felt sick after seeing it. I don't know why, but i felt sick to the stomach and my chest...... Burned.....
I found myself getting angry. Why tho? I shouldn't be angry. She's fine.
But the bloodsucker Hurt her.
But I shouldn't care.
I don't care.
Just looking at the NEW scar, that couldn't be an hour old, burned my chest more the longer I stayed there. And made me angrier.
"What. Is. That?" I knew what it was.
"Its just a vampire bite i got earlier"
Her voice.
It made things...... Almost feel better. But the words she said ruined it all.
I looked down at her arms, and it made things worse.
I couldn't handle it anymore. I had to leave. I could feel myself shaking badly.
So i left, shutting the door with more force than intended.
ARIA
I felt tears prickling in my eyes and warm arms wrap around me.
"Why does he hate me so much?"
