13. School

ARIAS POV

Everything went back to normal. Charlie had the story i was kidnapped, we even had a dead body for 'suicide'. Gross i know, but it was the best we cane up with.

Im starting school with the boys at La Push because Charlie says it has a better 'learning environment' personally, i think he doesn't trust the "big" school.

AT SCHOOL

The entire day has been horrible. All i can hear are rude comments by girls, and perverted by the boys walking by me. The girls are jealous of me being friends with the pack, and the boys, I'd actually rather not repeat.

I have 0 classes with Seth, and only two with Embry and one with Quil. Its kind of horrible at this school.

When Im walking to my locker, i run into someone being knocked over.

"Oh gosh, Im really sorry" a boy helps me up, he's really hot, as in temperature I mean,

"No I wasn't looking where I was going. Its my fault" i look at him, he's warm, tan, tall, a muscular. And in my grade. Werewolf.

"Are you new here? Im Adam"

"Yea. Im Aria Swan." A look of recognition to my name spreads across his face.

"I'll be right back." He says before walking away dialing on his phone.

ADAMS POV

When she said her name, I knew i had to call my pack leader Jason. We, along with another pack, have been searching for her for the past year for the Cullen's family. Im a werewolf- or shapeshifter, in one of the only two shapeshifter packs in Washington.

"Yea Adam?" Jason picks up.

"Aria is back. We can stop looking now" i hear a sigh of relief on the other line.

"Is she okay? How do you know?"

"Shes fine. And i ran into her less than 5 minutes ago."

"Thats good. Thanks Adam" he hangs up. Our pack, unlike other packs, have no problem with vampires unless they kill people. Vampires are kind of like werwolves. We're both secret, both monsters, and nobody really knows how we were started. We were put on earth, so we should have a reason to stay. Thats at least how my packs sees things.

ARIAS POV

When Adam walked away, I followed and listened to his conversation. When he walked back over he smiled.

"So you're a werwolf?" I whisper smiling at him.

"And your a hybrid vampire who ran away?" He replies smirking.

"I didn't know there was another pack around." I state confused. I thought there was only the Quileute.

"We're newer to these parts. We are originally from Northern Canada." I nod my head, understanding.

We talked until the bell rang, and I know for fact that Adam is only a friend and wont be anything more.

AFTER SCHOOL

"Hey Ari, how was school?" Nessie ask. Nessie is only about 3 but she looks 13 and she goes to Forks Middle School.

"It was, interesting" i choose my words carefully not wanting to talk about the comments I head about myself.

"Oh Aria! Did you make any friends?" Alice suddenly appears next to Nessie and I on the Cullen's white couch.

"Only one, his name is Adam and he a shapeshifter in the newer pack" Alice beams, "Oh gosh! Is he cute? Do you like him?" She squeals like a little girl.

"He's cute yes, but i don't see us be anything more than friends" she nods, smirking a little, maybe at and inside joke Im not getting.

"Oh. Okay sweetie. Thats perfect" and with that, shes gone somewhere else.

"What does she mean?" I turn towards Nessie and she just shrugs her petit shoulders. "Its Alice, what do you expect?" She giggles. A strong sent of pine washes over the room and Nessie smiles wide. I hear a few groans from downstairs, probably Edward and Rose.

"Its Jacob! And i think he brought someone else" Nessie sprints downstairs to the door and me, i jump out the window.

Its faster that way.

"Hey Little Swan!" Jacob walks over with Nessie already on his back and Seth trailing in the back.

"Hey Jake! Hi Seth" i wave to them smiling. I don't get how vampires could hate their smell, they smell like the woods.

"Hey Ari, we were going in the woods. Want to come?" Seth grins widely at me.

"Sure Ill come"
