*Maria's pov*
It has been 3 weeks since our training started and we've been busy following our schedule. But we weren't the only ones busy. The boys also had to start seriously preparing for their comeback.
Every Sunday it was set that we will have the day off from our training. It was kind of weird to have a day to do whatever we wanted instead of training until we could no more.
That Sunday we were left home alone. It was our chance to be "the men of the house" as Jin put it.

"— and everything better be in the exact same place when we get back."
"Yeah, yeah." I waved my hand dismissively at him. "Don't you have to be at the studio recording songs or something?"
Namjoon sighed at our antiques and went to the door.
"Just don't destroy the house."
"Look who was talking." I retorted, narrowly avoiding a slap on my arm from Francesca. "And no promises."
"Don't mind him. He's just joking." The second slap hit its mark before she raised her hand for a wave. "Bye guys! Have fun!"
"I'll give you a call when we're done." Hoseok said before closing the door after him.

It has been quite a long time since the boys left. It was kind of boring without their loudness since most of the day me and Francesca lounged around the house, mostly in silence and on our phones.
"Do you think they're done yet?" Fran asked, coming in the living room.
"Probably not. Hoseok said he would call."
I looked up as she took a seat in the armchair that was next to the couch I was lying on and turned to me, eating from a bag of chips.
"You know what's weird? We share the same company and dorm but we barely run into them these days."
"Eh, it's not the end of the world."
"Yeah... but still a bit weird." she was looking pensively at a chip before she perked up. "Oh right! I remember Namjoon mentioning something about them getting their hair dyed today."
"Yeah, to expect some light colors that go with their concept. I swear –" I propped myself on the couch arm to see her better. "– that man can't keep spoilers even if his life depends on it."
We share a short laugh then lapse in a total silence.
"I think a few days ago I saw Jungkook in the hallway. He took off running the opposite direction when he saw me." I pouted at the memory.
"To be honest I would do that too." she shrugged her shoulders. "But maybe you did something to him. Made a face at him or flipped him off?"
"Bish, all I did was to raise my hand to wave at him." I demonstrated the gesture before letting my arm fall and rolling my eyes. "And thanks, you know me oh so well."
For the next few minutes all was heard was the rustling bag and munching of chips. It was so monotone that I just started zoning out. Until Fran snapped her fingers to get my attention.
"Let's go out. This is too boring."
"Can't you go alone?"
"No. Get your ass up from the couch and get ready."
I squinted at my friend before heaving a sigh and got up from the couch, stretching my limbs.
"Fine... but I'm only going because I have nothing better to do."
