The apartment lay in utter silence as the tension built between the two draconic entities. Magical aura slowly swirling around F/N as he glared down the old treasure hoarder. Ms. Kobayashi and Kanna taking a step back as F/N spoke with a growl.

F/N: Abomination? What have I done to deserve that title? I can't control who my parents were.

He said, dropping his arm to his side, the magical energy dissipating into the air like static before a thunderstorm.

Fafnir: It's that fact that you should never have been born. You and your kind should have been wiped from this plain of existence long ago.

The elder dragon spat back; his eyes gleaming with a long burning rage before a loud clink drew everyone's attention. Kobayashi, who once was now scared sober, had slammed her bottle of beer down and glared directly at Fafnir.

Kobayashi: Wiped from the plain of existence?! He has done nothing wrong!

Tohru: Ms. Kobayashi...

I muttered as Fafnir snorted and looked down onto her.

Fafnir: You wouldn't understand human. This goes far beyond what you could ever comprehend.

Kobayashi: Try me.

She said, her graze gaining a solid fire as they locked gazes, only being broken as Takiya raised his hand.

Takiya: Yeah, I'd like to know what's going on here.

He said, walking over and standing behind Kobayashi's chair, Kanna following a similar option as she stood between her and Fafnir, a slight glare on her little face. I just looked around with worry as everything, for now, seemed to be calming a bit. There were still the growing auras emanating off Fafnir and F/N though. One being of sheer anger, the other, something that set off the flight instincts deep within my soul. Despite everything, Quetzalcoatl sat as if nothing was happening, drinking her beer without a care in the world.

Quetzalcoatl: Well then, it seems a little history is in order then. Seeing as Fafnir is too disheveled to tell it and the other too young to have known it, I will do my best.

She said, setting her drink down before turning to us all.

Quetzalcoatl: In a time before the present day, an old war used to rage in our world. A war where dragons and humans fought a common foe, a band of powerful beings known as the Black dragons. It was deadly; whole species of dragon and kingdoms of man were wiped from history, though for why these matters, it must be said that the ancestors of our half-breed friend fought on the side of the exterminators alongside other races of dragon and beast.

Kobayashi: Ok, so this is entirely a sin of the father's situation.

Quetzalcoatl: Somewhat, the travesties of the past do play into what came next.

She said, her tone softening as F/N looked down; that feeling to flee only grew as his fists tightened.

F/N: The extermination of the Nergigante, even after we tried to forget, they still hunted our kind down. Cost me both of my parents.

Fafnir: Because you were too dangerous to be kept alive, even now the reason is plain to see.

He said, his voice growing cold as he moved over to F/N, and at this point, the feeling emanating from my friend was like nothing compared to what came from F/N. I could only watch, though, as everyone grew more unnerved, the half-dragon's eyes shifted into something reptilian, his teeth slowly growing sharper when he growled. Still, the trembling also began to set in as Fafnir was mere inches from his face.

Fafnir: The hunger that drove every single member of your species to slaughter, to consume, even now you feel it, don't you? The need to feed, to consume the Bioenergy in me, in Quetzalcoatl and the others.
