F/N: Tohru? Please, whatever you do, don't overreact, will you?
I asked, as today Kanna's little friend had invited us over for her to play along with having Tohru talking to her maid of the house. My sister, having tagged along, given her obsession with maids, for myself, I was here to make sure things didn't get out of hand. Which hopefully was working as Tohru nodded a bit.
Tohru: Don't worry, I never overact.
She said with a bright smile, sighing softly; I rubbed the bridge of my nose as Kanna walked up and rang the doorbell. Within seconds, the door flew open as Riko stood there with a massive smile on her face upon seeing us.
Riko: Hello and welcome to my lovely home!
She exclaimed, moving to the side as we all walked in, the smaller girl staring up at Tohru with a slight gleam in her eye.
Riko: And I see you brought your maid and...Mr. and Ms. Kobayashi?
F/N: Just here to talk with your maid is all. We won't bother you two.
I said, smiling as Riko smiled brightly and took Kanna's hand, ready to pull her away before a soft voice called from the stairwell.
Maid: Young lady, I believe introductions are due.
Riko: O-oh, right, um, this is our family's maid.
She gestured to the young lady, who gave us a bow.
Georgie: It is a pleasure to meet you all, my name is Georgie, and I am proud to serve this wonderful family.
The maid stated with a small smile, though I let a snort leave under my breath while glancing at my sister, her eyes sparkling and looking like she was in heaven. Though, Tohru crossed her arms as she looked at the short-haired brunette.
Tohru: Well, you don't look like much of a maid to me? Where's the black and white color scheme?
She asked as Georgie did not wear what one would typically consider a 'maid outfit.' Instead, Georgie wore most of her hair up in a bonnet, with the majority of her attire consisting of a basic overdress-like set up in a light camel with large yellow circles dotting across it. The design all vanished underneath the more traditional white apron cover from her waist down to her knees, which also hid the tops of her black stalkings. Before any of the two could continue this talk, I mentally counted down, for just when I hit zero, my sister went into another of her full-blown maid rants after pushing up her glasses.
Kobayashi: There isn't a set uniform for maids in this world, but unfortunately, as the role of servant grew more and became more formal, today's idea of what is considered a maid outfit was formed.
Georgie: Oh, why, thank you. This maid outfit was made for a simple girl who has just entered the service. I am humbled; you have a decerning eye.
Georgie said with another of her smiles as she stepped closer to my sister, which she was absolutely trying not to lose her composure over the sight of a maid other than Tohru. The two then shared what could only be described as the maidly version of the 'you son of a bitch' from Predator. All of this led to my amusement of Tohru just staring at the two dumbfounded.
Tohru: How could I lose her to someone with that kind of an outfit.
She said, staring at the two before standing straight as Georgie turned her gaze over to the dragon.
Georgie: You must be Tohru; I've heard rumors about you in the shopping district. I've wanted to talk about maids with you for a long time now!"
She exclaimed, switching from holding Kobayashi's hand to taking one of Tohru's in both of hers. Tohru looked a little out of water as Kobayashi just nodded excitedly. Both girls then suddenly pulled Tohru up the stairs, whereafter, the sound of a door slamming shut echoed down the stairwell.
