Chapter 3: (Status & Growth)

"Where'd that kid go?" Loki had walked with Riveria to talk to Bell, but he was nowhere to be found, however, they knew that he was still nearby. "No way he would have left without his sword or his books." Riveria nodded and walked to the window and noticed it had a view of the courtyard where she saw two children talking.

Eventually, she found herself following the disappearing figure of Bell. "Awe it looked like he was getting her to talk quite a bit!" Loki was bummed that it ended just like it always did, with Ais closing everyone out. Riveria, on the other hand, however, could see differently. Call it motherly instincts or intuition, but as she gazed at Ais's form, she could see the turmoil in her heart through her sword.

"I wouldn't be so sure of it Loki..." Walking away from the glass both of the women began to try and find their original objective. Searching around they found him perched upon a tree staring out into the city, the wind blowing through the curls in his hair. "It's a pretty sight, isn't it?" Loki looked up at Bell as he nodded and stood up jumping down before kicking the trunk of the tree and rolling.

"Whoa, there hot stuff, who taught you how to do that?" Bell smiled at the compliment and answered concisely. "I read about how this was Argonaut's favorite move from..." He was going to continue but decided to just smile sadly. "I just kept practicing what I thought it would look like!" Loki couldn't believe it, this kid was quiet and reserved when it came to himself and his family, however, the moment a hero comes up.

It's almost as if his personality flips, but Bell he was as transparent as they come, he couldn't seem to tell a lie, you could tell he didn't like to lie. "That's incredible..." Even Riveria could understand how difficult it is to learn something physical through pure imagination and raw determination. "What else can ya do?"

Loki wanted to hear what made this boy so special, special enough that it seemed like things revolved around him right now. "Uhm... I can sword fight... though I'm nowhere near as good as Achilles or Hector..." Loki couldn't believe what she was hearing. "O-Oi..." She was rubbing her temples and Riveria could only look at her confused. "Achilles? Hector?" She didn't seem to know of them.

"Mm... They're heroes before the age of gods again, gah..." Loki acted like this was causing her stress, however, in actuality, her interest was at its highest point. "And how did you learn his skills?" Bell smiled as he got into a stance pretending to hold a sword, it was a stance that the two had never seen before. 'That's not Achilles...?' She had seen his battle from her throne up in Tenkai, however, she had never seen anything like this.

He pulled his arms back before giving a crescendo swing, he then used his right foot to pivot and dodge his imaginary enemy's blade, "Eh?" Loki began to rub her eyes, 'Am I seeing things?' It was almost as if he was moving in a way that mimicked both Hector and Achilles. 'His own style!?! Based off the two strongest Olympian swordsmen?!'

She couldn't believe the dance that she was witnessing, it was as if there was another figure overlapping the boy, guiding him on his beautiful dance of the sword. "Lo-!?" Aki who had come to tell her goddess and Riveria about breakfast lost her breath as she watched the way the boy moved. All 3 of the women there could only stare at his movement before he stopped moving and fell onto one knee and began to cough aggressively.

"O-Oi! Kiddo!" Loki went to his side and gingerly held him. "What was that?!" She was worried that maybe he truly had been damaged and was just hiding it from the Goddess. "I-I'm okay, this happens every time I do this... That's why I'm not good enough yet." He smiled at her as he began to catch his breath.
