39: never leave you

I woke up before Luke, laying, playing on my phone while he was sleeping on me.

Luke woke up, and immediately told me he felt sick. I watched as he ran to the bathroom and threw up.

"It's just a bug probably. You'll be okay in like 3 days." I said while rubbing his back.

He nodded.

I helped him up and took out his toothbrush and mouthwash.

I watched as he used both before going and laying down.

"Maybe it's morning sickness. What if I'm pregnant ash?" He was worrying again.

I sat next to him.

"Don't worry. If you overthink, it'll make you feel worse." I said.

He nodded.

"I'll go make you some toast, babe."

He nodded and I went downstairs to greet Jack and Celeste sitting at the table.

"Hey Ash." Jack said.

I waved and grabbed the bread.

"Is Luke up?"

"Yeah. He threw up so I'm just going to make him toast and-"

"He's pregnant." Celeste said.

I looked at her confused.

"He's shown all the signs. Missed period, mood swings, now morning sickness. Get him a pregnancy test or take him to the doctor and know that I'm right." She said.

"How do yo-"

"I've been pregnant, Ash. I've experienced it."

I nodded and put the bread back, going upstairs.

"Luke?" I went into the room.

He looked over.

"Celeste thinks your pregnant."

"I think I'm pregnant." he said.

I looked at his phone and saw a bunch of gibberish as the name.

"Who's the janoskians?" I asked.

"A YouTube group. They moved from Australia. You might know one of them." He said.

"Who?" I asked.

"Beau Brooks."

"I don't want you talking to him or his brother Jack or whatever."

"Jai." I said.

"Whatever. Don't talk to them."

"I talked sense into them. They are fine." He said, continuing to type.

I nodded.

"Can you please just go get me 3 pregnancy tests? I'm done waiting and going 'What if I am pregnant?'"

I nodded and put on shoes, going downstairs and grabbing my car keys.

"Where can I buy pregnancy tests?" I asked Celeste.

"CVS, Walgreens, basically any place like that."

I nodded and went outside to my car, driving to CVS.

It took a while but I finally found the pregnancy tests.

I grabbed three different brand ones, because I honestly didn't know.

I went up to the register and the guy gave me a weird look.

I gave him the money and quickly went out, and drove home.

I gave Luke the tests and he put them in the bathroom.

"Aren't you going to take them?"

"I'll take them during the week. Just to see if the morning sickness continues."

I nodded and he sat on the bed, me following.

He put his head on my chest and I warped my arm around him.

He played with my fingers as we lay there.

"Ash, will you leave me I I'm pregnant?"

"Never. I'll never leave you. Especially not now."
