Today is Mackenzie's birthday, so me and Ashton are going to Michael's after I finish school. I got her a small teddy bear and a fairy dress up outfit.

I had them in my backpack that I left in my locker. I had lunch now and seniors are allowed to leave so Ashton was taking me to Taco Bell. It's at least better than school food.

After that I had to go back, finishing the school day.

Ashton met me out front and we walked across the street to Michael's house.

"Uncle Ash! Uncle Luke! I'm 6 now!" Mackenzie smiled up at us.

"We were just going to eat dinner. Which is just pizza because I was too lazy to cook." michael laughed.

I nodded and took a piece of pizza before pulling the gifts out of my backpack and putting them with the others.

There were only a few people here. Michael, Kenzie, Calum, Ashton, me, and a girl who I don't know.

"Hi, I'm Kayleigh Daniels, Mackenzie's mom." She said.

Ok that answers my question.

"I'm Luke and this is my boyfriend Ashton. We're Michael's best friends." I said.

"Oh you're a faggot too." She snapped.

"Actually the preferred term is gay." michael said.

"I shouldn't let my daughter live with all of you in her life." Kayleigh said.

"Well you know, fuck you. She's Michael's daughter too. I suggest you get out of his damn house before your pretty little face gets wrecked." I said.

"You can't hit a girl." she said.

"That's a stupid kindergarten rule. Get. Out." I pointed to the door.

"No." She said.

I pushed her back, making her fall over.

"Who are you?" Kenzie asked her.

"I'm your mom." Kayleigh said.

"No. I don't have a mommy. I have daddys." Kenzie pointed to Michael and Calum.

"No. You're coming with me." Kayleigh grabbed Kenzie and tried running out.

"Daddy!" Kenzie screamed.

I punched Kayleigh in the face.

"You can mess with me, but you aren't laying another finger on Mackenzie." I pried her out of Kayleigh's hands.

"No! She's my daughter."

I pulled out my phone and dialed the cops.

"911, what's your emergency?"

"I would like to report child Harassment." I said.

"What's the victims name?"

"Kayleigh Daniels."

"And the child's name?"

"Mackenzie Clifford."

"Address?"

"114 Cherry lane."

I heard sirens a few minutes later, making Kayleigh look at me with wide eyes.

"What witness do we have of the child Harassment?" The cop asked.

"All of us." i gestured around the room.

"So what happened?"

"Kayleigh is the child's mom but michael has custody of her, and Kayleigh tried taking her away by pulling her along with her."

"Okay. So you're going into trial and being arrested Kayleigh. You have a record of child Harassment and kidnapping." He said.

She looked down.

They handcuffed her and took her to the cop car making Kenzie smile.

"Uncle luke? I still don't know what a dick is." she said.

"You don't want to know." I laughed.

I'm on spring break which means I can write more chapters and update more yay! After break it'll go back to the Wednesday and Sunday schedule.
