We have Brielle's wake today, and luke was a mess. She was his only friend that understood periods and girl problems. He had on a short sleeve black button up with a black tank top underneath, black skinny jeans, and black shoes, with a dog tag necklace. He was just so fucking hot no matter what so.

"Babe, you're staring." He laughed.

"Are you worried about someone seeing your cuts?" I said. He was wearing a short sleeve shirt.

"I don't know any of these people." he laughed.

I shrugged and handed him a jacket to wear since it was raining.

We went out to my car and drove to the funeral home.

We found her room and was greeted by Britney.

"Hello Luke. Hi Ashton." She smiled at us.

"I think her little sister was hit the hardest. She can't even look at her, hear her name, or see me without crying. It's horrible. Are you good with kids?"

"I have three nieces and he has one." Luke said.

"Good enough. Please talk to her? She's downstairs in the kids room by herself."

I nodded and took Luke's hand before going downstairs.

"Hi." I said quietly to the girl, probably 11 or 12.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"I'm ashton and he's luke." I said.

"What relation do you have with her?"

"We're her friends."

"I'm Bethany." She said.

"How old are you?" Luke asked.

"I'm 12. You?"

"I'm 19 and he's 17." I said.

"Do you listen to Paramore? If you do, then we're best friends."

"Hell yes. We went to their concert last week." I said.

"My mom wouldn't buy me tickets." She pouted.

"I think she should've." I said.

"Me too." Bethany smiled.

"How big of a fan are you of them?" I asked.

"I'd go lesbian for Hayley." she laughed.

"We'd go straight for her." I laughed.

"You guys are gay? Oh my god I've always wanted gay friends." she squealed.

"Yeah. We're actually dating too." I said.

"Oh my gosh that's adorable! I ship it! Oh my god, what's your ship name?" She was freaking out.

"I don't know." Luke shrugged.

"What about Lashton?" She smiled.

We nodded.

"Otp." She said.

"Online team play?" Luke looked confused.

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"One true pairing. It means you ship them together." She said.

"Do you watch hockey?" Luke asked.

"Yeah. My brother does. What's your team?"

"New York Rangers." Luke said.

"Same." I said.

"Oh my god we need to be best friends." She laughed.

"Then we are." I said.

"Luke?" Her face dropped. "What happened to your arm?"

"You understand what cutting is right?" He asked.

"Yeah. My friend cuts." She said.

"Well that's what I did." Luke said.

She got off the couch and came over to where we were sitting on the floor. She wrapped her arms around him.

"Why do you do that to yourself?" She asked.

"You know what transgender is?"

She looked at him confused.

"It's when you switch genders. So I used to be a girl, and I switched to a boy. And I'm gay. So I get bullied at school. My dad died a few years ago and my mom had to go to a mental asylum. I live with my brother, sister in law, and two nieces." Luke explained.

"I'm sorry." She hugged him again.

"It's okay." He said.

"I have a question, do you have a penis? Since you used to be a girl and stuff."

I laughed.

"No I do not. I have a vagina." luke said awkwardly.

"Were you a pretty girl?"

"I have a picture." Luke pulled out his phone and scrolled through his pictures until he found his 5th grade yearbook photo.

"You were so pretty." she said.

"Why thank you." Luke said in the gayest voice I've ever heard.

"Oh my god." Beth laughed.

"The place is closing, so we kinda have to go home." Britney came down.

"Okay." Beth smiled. "Bye Luke, bye Ash."

I smiled as we went upstairs.
