Ayato x fem! reader (uses she/her)

Setting down the broom against the closet door, you let out a sigh and trudged to the closest wall. Sliding down the smooth Aralia wood walls of the Kamisato Manor, you closed your eyes to catch your breath.

"Thoma makes this look so easy... What the fuck..." you murmured to yourself, wanting nothing more than to soak in the clan's hot spring.

"Are you alright there, Miss (Y/n)?" a voice called out to you. Opening up your (e/c) slowly, you saw a pair of lavender ones smiling back at you.

"Y-Yashiro Commissioner!? S-Sir Kamisato, I mean!" you yelped out as you immediately got up from the floor. "I wasn't slacking off, I swear!"

"You can relax; I know you were working hard, and you can drop the formalities. We're friends, after all," chuckled Ayato, his gloved hand covering his lips as he laughed.

It was true. You had become quite close with the Kamisato siblings and Thoma eversince the Vision Hunt Decree had been abolished. When you originally came to Inazuma for business inquiries, it soon turned into a migration of sorts. Ayato had been kind enough to offer you a job with Thoma as a maid-in-training.

"Oh, that reminds me; have you seen Ayaka? She said she wanted to go to the Grand Narukami Shrine today. Something about wanting to pull a fortune to see if it'd be a good idea to tell the Traveler something...?" you asked as you brushed off your clothes.

"My little sister? She must be in her room, if not out in the city with Thoma running errands."

"Thanks, Ayato. I'll go check to see if she's in there right now... and where'd you get that Boba from?"

"Ehe... want some?" he offered up, an innocent smile on his slightly flushed face.

"I'm just gonna... go find Ayaka..." you mumbled out, finding yourself a bit embarrassed as well.

Knocking on your best friend's door, she soon answered. Dressed in her nightgown and with her hair down, it was blatantly obvious that Ayaka had just woken up.

"Oh, sorry, (Y/n)... Is it time already? I'll go get dressed and then we can head up to the shrine.

The walk to the shrine was quite silent, aside from the fact that Ayato tagged along and was talking the entire time.

"— and that's the entire history of Onikabuto fights up until today. I'll be in a rematch against Arataki Itto in a couple days. You two wouldn't mind being my personal cheerleaders, would you?"

"C-cheerleaders?" you repeated.

"Oh, Big Brother... can you not embarrass my friend for one day?" Ayaka told him off. "Sorry, (Y/n)... you know how idiotic my brother can get..."

"You're good, don't worry about it."

"Ayaka, you're too harsh on your big brother... I was only teasing her."

Once we had reached the top of the mountain, Ayato had gone off to look at the view whilst you and Ayaka went to pull your guys' fortunes.

"Modest Fortune, hmm... Perhaps another day. What did you get, (Y/n)?"

Looking at your slip, it read in bold letters, "Great Misfortune."

"... next question. Ahem. Don't worry about it, Ayaka. These things are just for fun anyway, right?"

"Hey guys! I got Great Fortune! Maybe this is a sign that I'll win that Onikabuto fight! Or maybe that salesman will have a discount on his Boba today!" exclaimed Ayato, waving around his fortune slip like a little kid.
