Work rushed by as the only thing that was on my mind was the fact that Ajax and I had finally made it official and how we were gonna visit Liyue Harbor this weekend. I've been cooped up here in the Guili Plains district for far too long now. The moment I got back from work, I tossed my belongings into some unknown corner of my room and started to pack my backpack.

Just then, a soft knock was at my half-open door.

"What's got you so happy?" asked Xiao as he leaned against my doorframe.

"I'm going back to down to Liyue Harbor for the weekend. ... or at least the neighborhood where Ajax and I grew up- we're going to go visit his family."

"Ajax? Oh, you mean that ginger. So... I'm assuming you two are together-together?"

All I let out was a small "mmhmm" as I dug through my closet. "Hey, is it gonna be cold this weekend down there? I know it's a harbor, but the neighborhood where we grew up was far from the actual docks so I'm not sure if I should prep for colder or warmer temperatures."

"Just pack one or two of each just in case, (Y/n). Simple as that."

"Thank you, Xiao," I smiled at him. He let put a soft "hmph" before averting his gaze from me. We both knew that I hadn't said thank you just for the advice on the clothing, but for everything in general. After putting a hoodie into my bag, I walked over to my roommate and kissed him softly on the forehead.

"W-what was that for!?" exclaimed the adeptus as he retaliated quickly.

"For being you. I mean this when I say it, Xiao: I love you."

His emerald eyes glittered for a moment before he replied with, "... I love you, too, (Y/n). Finish packing and then come join me in the kitchen. I'm making (f/f) tonight."

"Haha, yessir!"

Even though dinner was a bit on the quieter side of things, I didn't mind it if it was with Xiao. It was like a breath of fresh air compared to the hectic, horny conversations I would have with my boyfriend. Boyfriend... it sounded kinda weird saying that word (even if it was only in my head).

As I set my, now, fully packed up backpack by my door, I then texted Ajax to let him know I was prepared for the weekend ahead of us.
