Animals march two by two,
Left foot, right foot shoe.

Sun and moon, sea and sky,
Couples hold hands as they go by.

Knife and fork, fire and water.
Light and dark, son and daughter.

All manner of creature together,
Hoofs, claws, birds of a feather.

But I am alone, in my empty home.
