Insomnia's Perspective | The boy's words

It was heavy, the feeling in her chest. It all piled up after all. Seonghwa being here, again. Siyeon leaving her. Siyeon confessing that she feels so much for her in just short time. Her work, her emotions, her life, it was all piling up.

She didn't know what to do.

So she accepted her student's invite. Now, she's not dumb. She knows that San has this crush on her.

The countless invites to join him and his friends were obvious. Walking farther away from them as they headed towards the restaurant that they would be eating at, she hears their laughter and jokes with one another and feels a bit left out.

But she also felt happy hearing them laugh with each other because it reminded her of her friends when they were unburdened with life, when everything was okay and bright for all of them.

It reminded her of Siyeon, the very first time they hang out with each other. Walking the streets at night as the moon brightened alongside their laughter and smiles.

She sighs as her head ached thinking of those days, the happy days. She feels a tap on her shoulder and sees San smiling at her shyly.

" Hey, thanks again for c-coming with us. I'm really happy you're with us today. " San said, smiling at Sua as he walked alongside her.

" Well, I wasn't busy today and I feel like I won't be busy for the next few days so I thought ' why not join my adorable students for a drink or two.' " Sua uttered, looking straight at the road, never glancing at the young boy who yearned for the woman's gaze.

" A-Ah. " San mumbled, chuckling nervously as he rubbed his right palm against the back of his head.

Arriving at the restaurant they were headed to, they sat in a long table fit for seven people as she sat herself beside San as he was the only who she fairly knew and liked.

" Then, let's enjoy ourselves? " A student of hers named Hongjoong asked excitedly with a grin as he raised his cup indicating a sign of cheers.

" Yeah! "

O

ne drink became two and then another until they were all drunk. Laughter and jokes were soon shared with each other.

Sua thought that she would stay for just an hour yet an hour came by and here she was, drunk and laughing with her students.

" woooh, woooh, woooh. " Sua sang as her head shaked left to right while she sang it in a trot way.

San had to hold his laughter back seeing his normally strong and fierce teacher act in such a ridiculous and hyper way.

Yet even then, she was beautiful. Adorably beautiful, his thoughts screamed.

As his thoughts were rambling while she sang, it was as if a bell rang signalling for a break.

First was Hongjoong, second was Mingi, and next thing San knew; all of his friends had gone to the bathroom while he sat there gazing at his teacher.

" H-hey, San. I've got a question to ask you. Y-you have to answer, truthfully, o-okay? - " Her words were cut off as she burped.

Even then, she was beautiful.

" Yeah, s-sure. I will. " Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he replied.

" Why do you think people leave the people they care about at the end of the day? " Sua mumbled as her eyes, glowing lightly, dropped down to her cup, lips rubbed together.
