Insomnia's Perspective | The Friends and Softies

The sun poured through the window, hitting the room in which Siyeon and Sua had slept in. One was awake and gazing; one was asleep with her head in the neck of the other, sighing as she nuzzled further. Siyeon, herself, just lied there awake staring at the dancer wondering what to do. Whether to panic or take advantage of the situation and hold the girl tighter.

With her mind in a rather useless disarray, the rather loud noise of her caller ringtone shocked her almost falling out of the bed if not for gathering herself. She grabs her phone on the nightstand and checks on who had called her, seeing the name of Jiu. She grumbles annoyingly.

Checking up on Sua who had used the pillow that Siyeon was lying on as a Subsitute and nuzzled her head further into the pillow as if she wanted disappear with it. As she concludes that Sua was in a deep sleep, she answers Jiu's call rather grumpy.

" What? "

" Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. " A  feminine and teasing voice spoke from the voice. Siyeon sighs hearing that.

" Nope, I woke up rather happy but my beautiful morning got disrupted by this call, so what is it that you need? "

" I don't really have anything to say to you rather than we're outside your home. We wanted to visit Sua, you're just an added bonus to it."  Jiu informed her and at that moment, her doorbell rang.

" Okay, okay. Just wait. I'll go to the door. Sua is asleep right now. " She whispered to the phone so that the little dancer would not wake up from all the noise.

She steps outside her room, wiping her hands on her pants. Her heart beating rampantly.

These are just people, you know them. You've worked with them, talked with them, laughed with them.

As her feet reached the door of her house, she hears laughter outside. It sounded like they were many but if her memory served her right, it was supposed to be Dami, her boss, and Jiu, her manager only. Her mind came to a halt.

Of course, Jiu would bring Sua's other friends here. They have been all close since college. They all knew Seonghwa and she vaguely remembers the tales Jiu and Sua told her, separately of course.

Why is she panicking about this simple thing then? She shakes her head, she was never really a social person. It takes time for her to get close with new people and for people to barge in her comfort zone.

An image of Sua on her bed, sleeping, appeared on her mind.

She sighs and her hand held the door knob and turned it, successfully opening the door; and came in were five women all looked completely different with one another. Dressed differently, and their vibes completely varied. Jiu entered first, grinning and greeting. She was kind of tense with the three new people but was more tense as her boss came in, poker face and all.

She coughs slightly, " You can all sit down and feel free to explore the house. I'll head upstairs and wake up Sua. " She says that as she prepares a tray, placing a prepared sandwich in it as well as a glass of milk. Her feet shaking as she walked upstairs one by one. She raised her arm slightly and had a hard time opening the door of her room.

Her room was hit by the sunlight, giving it an ethereal glow; and the moment she opened the door and entered the room. She came face to face Sua, awoken. Her hair in a mess yet still beautiful. It came off as wavy.

Her arms were locked to her knees as she kept it close to her chest, shaking. Her eyes, ever so beautiful, yet as she stares at it the more her eyes glistened in tears and one could obviously notice the sadness in it. She was locked in a memory, once more.
