Chapter 16

Hazels POV
"So what do we do now?" I asked. Pitch shrugged. "We don't have any leads" she said. "Where's the other two?" I asked. She made a circle with her fingers and stuck her fingers through it. "How can we not hear that?" I asked. "Because we're not fucking!" Harper yelled. "Yet!" Pyro yelled. Pitch and I got grossed out. "You wanna go somewhere?" I asked. She nodded and we left. "Have fun love birds" Pitch said as we walked out.

"They are perfect for each other. Ill give them that" I said. We're in the truck driving around. "Why don't you date? I've never seen you in a relationship. Are you straight?" Pitch asked. "I'm bisexual. I haven't found anyone that peeks my interest. It doesn't matter anyway. Having relationships while you're in our line of work isn't the best idea" I said. "I guess that's true. I kinda figured you didn't want to date because of what happened with Griffin" she said. There was a short silence. "It came out of no where. She could have done anything to shut me up but she chose that" I said looking down. She parked the car and took my hand. "I'm sorry that I didn't believe you about Griffin. You were right. She was acting weird. I blame myself for what happened to you. If I had believed you than it wouldn't have happened" she said. "Don't blame yourself Pitch. There's nothing you could have done" I said looking at her. "I don't understand why Griffin did any of this. She was such a nice person. Why would she do this?" Pitch asked. "I never thought about it. Griffin was one of the nicest people we knew. There's no way she chose that herself" I said. Our eyes widened and we looked each other in the eyes. "Michael" we said. We faced each other and grabbed each others hands. "But what did he do?" I asked. "That night when he asked to see Griffin outside, I bet he threatened her" she said. "But what would mean so much to her that she would do anything he said?" I asked. Her eyes widened. "Not what. Who" she realized. Her hands started shaking. "She did it to protect you" I realized. She looked at me in fear. "We have to save Griffin" she said.

Griffins POV
I walked into my room. "Hey, there's my sexy girl" Lex smiled. "Oh shut up. I thought you were going home after a few days" I said. I sat down on the side of the bed looking at my phone. "I was, until I found you" she said. She came up behind me and wrapped her arms around my waist. She put her head on my shoulder. "If you give me a hickey again. I will slap you" I said. She laughed. "It wont be noticeable" she said. "It better not be" I huffed. She leaned down and started sucking my neck. That's definitely gonna be noticeable. I felt a sharp pain. "Ow! Hey that one hurt. I told you no biting" I said grabbing my neck. "Says the rapist" she huffed. I pushed her off me and walked into the bathroom. I leaned on the counter and looked in the mirror. She came in behind me. "I'm sorry" she said. "It wasnt my fault. I didn't want to do it. I didn't have a choice" I growled. She stood next to me and placed her hand over mine. "You never did tell me what he threatened you with" she said. "Pitch" I said.

Flashback
"I have a proposition for you" he said. I raised an eyebrow. "We work for an organization called MESA. I never told you or the girls because its easier when you don't know. However, you are exceptional and I want you to be an official MESA agent" he said. "That sounds great. What do the agents do?" I asked. He smirked. "The agents of MESA are skilled assassins" he said. I took a step back shocked. "Excuse me?" I asked. "Are you interested?" He asked. "No! I'm not doing that" I said. "Fine. We'll do this the hard way. If you don't do this than my agents will kill your team and your sister" he said. I gasped. "But Pyros your own daughter!" I said. He rolled his eyes. "Pipers a fool, just like her mother. Now what will it be?" He asked. I hesitated. "Ill do it" I sighed. "Good, now don't even try to escape or tell your teammates. I have eyes everywhere" he said. "Yes sir" I said.

"Hazel is onto me" I told him. "Than take care of her" he said. "I refuse to hurt them" I said. He stood right in front of my face. "Than make it pleasurable" he said. My jaw dropped. "You want me to..." I trailed off. "It'll keep her quiet. Now do it and remember what's at stake if you don't" he said. "Yes sir" I said.

End of flashback
"Its ok now Griffin" Lex hugged me. "I shouldn't be telling you this. You're on his side" I said. "Am I? I don't listen to him. I listen to you. I've never followed his orders" she said. "I don't care what Michael says. I'm still a Techno Bandit. There's nothing he can do about it." I said. "What's your idea?" She asked. "We're gonna help the bandits from the inside" I said. "We?" She asked. I looked at her. "You love me don't you?" I asked. She smiled and kissed me. "A little" she said. "Then lets go" I said.
