Harpers POV
We got a message from Griffin. "There's a party downtown that needs the bandits to crash it. A new guy has taken control of MESA and he's tough. I don't know if I can get very many messages to you after this. His security's pretty tight. Good luck" the message read. "Lets go crash a party" I said. "Yes! I finally get to act again" Hazel cheered. "Hold on, look at this place" Pitch handed me the tablet. "Woah!" I said. "Now that's a party" Hazel smiled. "They have a helicopter on their roof" I said in shock. "Yeah, we're gonna need a way in" Pitch said. "I'm your way in. I told you, I act" Hazel said. "I know that. I meant we cant show up in Pyros truck. We need something else" Pitch said. "Trade in the truck for something. I don't care" Pyro shrugged. "Ok. Ill be back with a car. You guys make a plan" I said.
After a few hours and a lot of paperwork I'm back. "Girls, come see the new ride" I announced. "You better have picked something good seeing as how I'm the driv-" Pitch stopped mid sentence. She's practically drooling over the car. "Dodge Challenger. Good choice, now we have a proper escape vehicle" Hazel said. I got a solid black dodge challenger. "You ok Pitch?" I asked. Hazel slapped her. "If you love that car more than me I will kick your ass" Hazel spat. Pitch pulled hazel into her. "No, I love you more. That's just a really nice car" Pitch said. I tossed her the keys. She caught them. "Go crazy" I said. She squealed. Hazel is not amused. "You guys have a plan?" I asked. They nodded and we grabbed our stuff to leave.
"Hazel why did we stop at a gas station?" I asked. She's digging through the trunk. "Here, that ones yours. This is Pyros, and here Pitch" Hazel handed us clothes. "Formal wear?" I asked. "Do you want to be let in or not?" Hazel asked. "Lets go change!" I said.
Pitch and I have suits. Hers is black with a dark red undershirt and mines a dark blue with a white undershirt. "Why did we get suits?" I asked. "Would you prefer a dress?" Pitch asked. "Fair" I huffed. "I don't like this" Pyro said, walking up to me. I smiled. "You look amazing" I exhaled. She has a strapless white jumpsuit with a dark blue cropped blazer. "I look weird" she said. "No Pyro. You look great" Pitch said. I nodded. "Are we ready to go?" Hazel asked. Hazel has a dark red dress. "You made us match?" I asked. I match with Pyro and she matches with Pitch. "Of course. We are couples after all" Hazel said.
We're here. Pitch parked the car and we all got in. I'm surprised this worked. "What are we looking for?" I asked. "We don't know. Just keep watch" Pitch said. We split up.
I'm at the bar. Why? Because I can. I looked over and saw a familiar logo on this guys pants. I grabbed my drink and followed him. I leaned against a wall while he talked to someone. "Harper stop getting drunk" Pitch said as I sipped my drink. I looked around and spotted her across the room. "I'm putting up an act. Tall guy over here works for MESA" I said. She nodded and looked away. I glanced to the side and saw a blonde boy staring at me. I looked away immediately. "Pyro, I need you" I said. "I'm coming" she said. The boy walked up to me. "Would you care to dance?" He asked. I cringed. "I could ask the same question" Pyro said. I took Pyros hand and we went to the floor. We giggled. "Men are terrible" I said. "They're not that bad" she shrugged. "Have you seen anyone?" I asked. "Yes, the girl that knocked me off the beam is here" she said. "Look at the guy behind me" I said. She glanced over my shoulder. "I see him" she said. "So that's two. Lets hope that Pitch and Hazel found something" I said.
Hazels POV
I don't like this party. Sure, its in a fancy house and whatever but its not anything great. "Having fun?" A woman asked. I turned to see a girl with the MESA logo on her suit. "What do you want?" I snapped. "Listen closely. This is all a trap. Griffin didn't send that message. Gerald did. He's taken over MESA and knows about Griffins communication with you. You cant trust anything that tablet says. Find your friends and get out" she warned. "How can I trust you?" I asked. "I'm Griffins girlfriend. Names Lex. Look, I can save Griffin from my father but I cant save all of you. You need to go" she said, handing me some keys. "What is this?" I asked taking them. "The helicopter. Its your best way out. Now go" she said, walking away.
Pitch's POV
"Wait what?" I asked. "You have to leave now" Griffin said. "I don't understand" I said. Hazel walked up. "We gotta go" Hazel said. "Go!" Griffin said. "Come with us Griffin. Michaels gone. You can come with us" I said. "I can get you to the roof but I cant go with you. Lets go" she said. "Griffin, what exactly is MESA doing here?" Hazel asked. "They want to kidnap one of you" she said. "Griffin? What's going on here?" Harper asked walking up to us. "You all have to go. Where's Pyro?" Griffin asked. "Ill go find her" Harper said. "Lets go to the roof" Griffin said.
"Can you fly?" I asked. "Yeah. I have a license" Hazel said. "Yet you cant drive" I said. "I'm not good with wheels" she shrugged. She got in the helicopter and started it. "Harper hurry up" I said over the coms. "We have a problem. Pyros been captured, you girls go. I'll get her" Harper said. "Shit. Be careful" I said. "Ill go see what I can do" Griffin said. "Bye Griffin. Just don't die ok?" I said. "I wont" she smiled. I got in the helicopter. "Where's the girls?" Hazel asked. "We have to follow them from above. MESA caught Pyro" I said. Hazel groaned. "Of course they did" she said.
Harpers POV
I took my eyes off her for two seconds. I ran after the chick that took her. She shoved Pyro into a car and drove off. I got in the car and sped after them. I drifted around corners, ran red lights, and drove straight through incoming traffic. I heard the sirens. My foot is on the floor. If I don't lose the cops than I'll be caught but if I do lose them, than I also lose Pyro.
Pyros POV
Its the girl that kicked me off the beam, whos name I now know is Alyssa. I untied my hands from behind my back and slowly took off the rag in front of my mouth. Alyssa was shooting at the car behind us. Its Harper. I untied my feet and tackled Alyssa. The guy driving got spooked and freaked out. The car went spiraling. Alyssa opened the door and I came flying out and into a ditch. I slowly got up. I don't think Harper realized I fell out because she drove on past. The cops stopped though. "Hands where we can see them!" a man yelled. "Uh oh" I said. I lifted my hands up. They came up to me and grabbed me. "You're under arrest. You have a right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you" he said handcuffing my hands behind my back and shoving me into the car. This isn't good.
Pitch's POV
"Uh oh" Hazel and I said. We flew over the cops. "Harper stop! The cops got Pyro" I said. She didn't respond but the car stopped chasing them. "Where are we gonna land this?" I asked. "In the woods" Hazel shrugged.
