Chapter 27

Pyros POV
"How did this work again?" I asked looking at the pedals and stuff. "Oh my god Pyro, DRIVE THE CAR" they all yelled. I stomped on the gas and pulled onto the road. We all screamed in terror. I caught control and drifted onto the highway. MESA agents are chasing us in the car behind us. "You might wanna buckle up!" I yelled. "Oh! You don't say?!" Casey yelled back.

They're shooting at the car. "Ah! Someone shoot back please!" I said dodging shots. Casey and Jax stuck their heads out the window and shot like crazy at the MESA agents but they kept coming. "Girls, the cops are coming!" Hannah said. "Good. Casey, Jaxy, get in the car. I have an idea" I said. Three guys on motorcycles pulled up next to the car. I cant outrun them. They shot at the windows but we didn't get hit. A bullet hit a guy from the sky. I looked at him confused as he fell. The other two got shot down as well. "What is that?" I asked. Shelby looked through the sun roof. "That's your girlfriend!" she said. "Way to go babe" I said over the com. "10-4" Harper said.

The cops are coming in front of us and on the sides and we have MESA agents behind us. "Pyro, what are you doing?!" They yelled. "Trust me!" I yelled back. Jaxy looked at me and then at the girls. "Let her do it" Jax said. "Thanks Jaxy, now hold on" I said. I drifted into the middle of all the cops and curved out the other side. The MESA agents drifted right after me but they got caught in the cops and smashed right into their cars. "Way to go Pyro" Jaxy complimented. We high-fived and I sped off back home.

The tires screeched as if pulled into the dirt driveway. The helicopter is in the yard. We all ran out and inside. "Harper!" I yelled. She walked into the living room and I ran to her. I latched onto her in a hug. "Hey, you ok?" She asked concerned. "I love you" I said. "I love you too" she said. "Is Griffin ok? Alyssa said she died" I said. "Oh come on Pyro. You know me better than that" Griffin said as she comes in, sitting in a wheelchair. "You know I don't die that easily" she said. I smiled. "You're ok!" I said. "Sort of" she shrugged. "Why wont you let me push your chair?" Lex asked walking out with Pitch and Hazel. "Because I can walk just fine. You're just insisting in sit in the chair" Griffin huffed. I laughed. "No you cant" Lex said. Griffin stood up and limped over to her. "You sure?" She asked. "You're limping" she said. "That doesn't mean I need wheelchair. My arm is broken. Not my leg" she said. Griffin came over to me and hugged me. "I missed you Pyro" she said. "I missed you too" I said. "So what now?" Hazel asked. "Now, I think its time we officially say that you all are at level nine" Harper said. "Nine!?" They yelled, shocked. We laughed. "Well yeah. You've yet to be taught by the best bandit there is" Harper said, and we all looked to Griffin. Griffin laughed. "I'm not that great" she said.

Hazels POV
I just got out of the shower. I'm brushing my hair in my room and Griffin walked in. "Hey" I said. "Hi, are you ok?" She asked. "I'm fine. Why are you asking me? You're the one that almost died" I said with a laugh. "Are we just gonna act like I didn't do what I did?" She asked. I stopped and turned to face her. "Griffin, I've gotten over it. Pitch helps me to forget and I've forgiven you. It wasnt your fault" I said. "That's bullshit. I was too weak to say no. The truth is that I knew we could've fought off Michael together as a team, but I was too scared to say no, and I kill myself everyday for that Hazel" she said. I hugged her. She hesitated but hugged back. "We're ok Griffin. I forgive you" I said. "Thank you Hazel" she said.

Two weeks later
Griffins POV
My arm is wrapped up now but its not a full cast. I'm back at that underground organization place. MESA abandoned it after what happened. Technically its because Lex threatened to out her dad before she left MESA and the building became ours. Now I have an idea.

"Why are we here?" Pitch asked. "Are you gonna double cross us again because I swear-" Hazel said. I laughed. "No, come on" I said. We walked inside. "So, this place belongs to us now" I said. "Yeah and?" Harper asked. Pyro nudged her. "Ok listen, the five of us will always be The Techno Bandits. There's no changing that, but your recruits however... they gave me an idea. They'll never be bandits, but maybe we can recruit more girls like them. We can use this place to train them and they can be our agents. That way we wouldn't have to put ourselves in danger so much. MESA is still out there and they aren't gonna stop" I said. They smiled. "I like that idea" Harper said. They all nodded. "What do we call it?" Hazel asked. We looked down in thought. "SAW" Pyro said. "What?" I asked. "Just saw?" Hazel asked. Pitch looked at Pyro. "No I get it. The Secret Association of Women" Pitch said. "Ohh" we said. "Good thinking Pyro" Harper said. Pyro smiled. "SAW it is then. This'll be fun" I said. We all smiled. "Lets roll out, bandits" Harper said.
