Veronica Hamilton had transferred to Hilland High at the very end of her Sophomore year. Already knowing the school but feeling anxious since she didn't want anyone to figure out who she is.
She looked completely different now so only people who knew her based of personality would catch on. And by that, she had to look out for Elisia and especially Brandon.
Veronica walked into her first period class, English, and seeing familiar faces. Her teacher greeted her and introduced her to the class. The class paid no attention to Veronica, besides the few loners who had nothing else to do. The one person who looked her way, make her heart light on fire.
Nicki Sullivan.

To Nicki, hearing that name struck something in her. The last Veronica she knew tried to kill herself. Not to mention, she felt like she had something to do with it. I mean, she was tormenting her the day she did it. So once Nicki heard that name, her eyes went wide and immediately looked to see if it was Veronica Scott.
Seeing a skinner and prettier girl made Nicki sigh in relief, but also made her worry since she hadn't seen Veronica Scott since that day. The girl made her way next to Nicki and the two shared a fake smile to one another. Nicki knew this wasn't the Veronica, but Veronica knew she was the Veronica Nicki drove to a suicide attempt.
