3rd pov ( Just an idea. Refers to episode...4.)

Kidow was raised in the Far East, where there are far more bugs then there are people, which means there's a lot more desperation over there then in the West. He's had years to get over it as well as to adjust to it, so by the time Lazarus saves him, he has it under control and by the time he flees to the West and runs into Mario, he's got complete control, no longer requiring too much effort. Sure, it's weird having to tear subtle chunks off of the Cagaster bodies in order to feed, but he's long since learned to live with it and he can eat human food as well, so no harm no foul.

Hadi had noticed something strange about Sensei, not long after he'd met the teen, though the longer he knew him the more it stood out. There's something about the way the man walks, it's not quite human. It's far too smooth for a human, even if he was trained in the Far East, but bringing it up has Sensei deflecting and others think he's crazy because he's questioning the way an Exterminator moves - most of them don't see Exterminators on a daily basis, so they don't know that Hadi is completely right.

Qasim had never disliked the kid, no matter how much he despises Exterminators. His instincts tell him he can trust Kidow, as much as the poor kid seems to be great at being a weapon, a sword to kill insects, his people skills are...lacking to an almost funny degree. He can't seem to connect to people or understand why they feel certain ways, which worries the older man, even as he watches the kid. However, he also trusts his instincts and they're saying the kid is safe, that he will protect whoever he must, so he never bothers the guy much.

Aisha never spends much time with him, but the little she does means she spots it before the others. She's usually left behind or in the background, better at long range weapons then anything, so she's the only one on the mission to notice it. They're guiding and guarding another caravan, when big bugs start coming down. Aisha stays back, watching as the other three take to the front lines with the other Exterminators,  and watches as a claw hits Kidow - except it almost looks like it deflects off of him instead of cutting into him like it should, even as he's thrown into the wall.

Jin has always been concerned for Kidow, because the kids determined to keep everyone at arm's length, even if he sees them daily or lives with them, he refuses to get close in any way shape or form, so he finds it odd when the man - not long after Illie gets there - let's her get close, almost as if he doesn't even mean to. Mario and he think the two are starting to fall in love, but honestly at this point, they're both just glad he's letting someone get closer. That's why it breaks his heart when he hears about the Cagaster outbreak with Qasim. The kid had been getting closer to the military man, letting him in.

Illie doesn't realize it, not consciously, but she's always felt safe with Kidow, even when she didn't know him, even when he hit her, she knew it was for her own good and he was doing it to protect and save her.  She never notices anything odd, because she's known him for the least amount of time, but she's never been scared of him. Sure, he's startled her and confused her a lot, but he's never scared her. Something about him almost feels as if she could never fear him, though she has no idea why.

Kidow grimaces as he's alerted to the Cagaster outbreak, even more so when he realizes it's Qasim. That means at least Hadi will be there, if not Aisha as well. Oh well, he's planned on telling them eventually, though this is certainly not the way he had expected it to happen. He really hopes the news hasn't gotten too far and he's lucky. By the time he reaches them, the news is only known by him, Hadi, Aisha, the girl Lizzy and the Sargent of the army, all of whom trust him a great deal and hopefully won't freak.

He nods to the Sargent, gently patting both Aisha and Hadi as he passes, beckoning them to come with. Let the Sargent and girl think what they will - he's letting them come along to say their final words or whatever - but he knows what he's doing. As he climbs the steps, he builds his courage, knowing this'll probably be hard on Qasim, and maybe the others as well. He's just glad he's got some Cagaster meat on him or else this might've gone worse. He's almost surprised to find Qasim sitting on the rock with his consciousness still intact.
