3rd pov

Kidow had not asked to be a monster, cold and in need of blood from humans in order to survive. He did not ask to be turned by the asshole who did it either, can't remember anything about them because they came up behind him and bit him, turned him without remorse - he woke a few minutes into the change and spent hours in agony as his body was forcibly changed, every cell and shred of skin becoming something else - and never even bothered to check on him.

He had found another vampire by accident, Ms.Mario having been around for several years and claiming to be her own descendant, who happens to get the inn/restaurant as an item at a certain age, meaning she's not had to move in quite some time. She had been outraged - still is, especially after she eradicated the bond between him and his sire, willingly taking it on herself - when he told her he was not turned of choice, was forced and he did not even know who his sire was, not even a single clue.

Of course, as a vampire with a distaste for blood, he only drinks the bare minimum he can get away with, which usually means about a water bottle full, since Mario won't let him get away with less because that would starve him and she refuses to let a fledgling starve in her own home. Of course, Kidow refuses to just freeload off of her, and so he becomes an Exterminator. He stalks other supernatural monsters, just like him, except they kill humans out of joy and excitement rather than necessity. He tries to avoid humans, refuses to have to deal with them and the way their blood smells as they pass by him, but sometimes it's unavoidable, which is why the rumors of supernatural beings existing even continue, despite no clear given evidence.

Currently, he's resting on the roof of a building overlooking the back allies, where it's said a group of young spirits are looking to get from kills in, wanting human flesh for some of their more forbidden potions that they're not supposed to make. He's going to request they leave and then kill them if they attack, because they are considered Cagasters - bugs that infect a population, outcasts and traitors, which his Exterminator permit gives him a right to kill - and Cagasters are not allowed to live, not when they risk revealing the entire supernatural world to humans just for greed or desire.

Of course, it's also understandable that the only thing you can do at times, is make certain to cover the evidence, like when werewolves that live in the city are forced to change on the full moon, the clothes and anything they leave behind, that might reveal them, Exterminators - and other supernatural creatures, out of an unspoken rule to help everyone remain hidden - cover it, throwing it away, leading them out of the city, anything they can in order to remain a hidden and thus protected society. So for any creature to risk it and actively be doing the opposite, it is an insult and so he growls.

The scent of spirits drifts to him and he glances down, raising an eyebrow in surprise to find several teenage spirits - he'd been expecting slightly older than teenager, but apparently any age is a good age - before calmly stepping off the building, barely bending his legs as he hits the ground, barely making any noise either. He steps from the shadow and watches as they all tense, clearly recognizing the aura - as well as numerous other markers on him, each different for the supernatural community - of an Exterminator. They all look nervously to each other, before a female drifts forwards, trying to be brave.

"What are you doing here?"

"Stopping you from creating forbidden potions using human flesh, ordering you to head back to your home and stop this foolishness and maybe killing you if you insist on trying to get to the humans in order to kill them." He states bluntly, already done with the night. He's going to get paid well, what with the damn number of Exterminations he'd had to do tonight, the sunrise in only a few short minutes.

"Why should we go back to the place where they refuse to let us experiment?"

"Why are you choosing to experiment? Humans are alive, just as we are, and we are in hiding so they do not find us, stop trying to reveal us. Now leave or you all die here." He's done with trying to convince them, sliding his sword from the sheath resting against his back, letting the sound ring out. He's hoping it unnerves them enough to get them to actually back the hell down and leave, but none of them move. He groans and then moves, cutting through the one of the left first and then the one behind them, leaving only two more, ignoring the blue and green pastel blood coating him. He turns to the other two, to find them staring at him in horror. He kind of wants to give them a disgusted look, because the scent of their blood is nasty, but refrains, instead moving to cut the one in the back down, smoothly turning the stand into a flip upon which he lands on the last ones shoulders, preparing to break their neck.
