To no one's surprise, the outbreak of Cagaster's does not affect one's secondary gender, dynamic, whatever. Being an Alpha does not increase your chances of becoming a Cagaster, no more than being an Omega lessens your chances of being a Cagaster. It's an indiscriminate attack, one that targets everybody, regardless of anything others think. Of course, getting the people to believe that takes time, but eventually by the time they're 15 years in, it's no longer a problem.

30 years in and everyone no longer cares about the dynamics, more concerned on trying to survive, since you never know if or when you may turn into a bug, or someone else might, so might as well live as if everyday is your last. Alphas are given no more privilege than Omegas and Omegas are not locked away as sex slaves, are allowed to get jobs and do all kinds of work, since they really can't afford to not have all hands on deck in most towns. In the Far East, it's worse, but better.

Omegas are usually raped, though they quickly learn not to mess with one in Heat and not a mother either, and the Omegas quickly toughen up, most lucky to remain virgins at al, but the newest generation of Omegas, they're tougher than the last few, born into a world of chaos, bugs and war, where death could happen any day. Kidow presented at 12, as an Omega and more than proved himself against the few assholes in the gang who thought he would just let them rape him, though the way Lazarous came down on them certainly made sure there were far less attempts than he was preparing for.

After having to kill his father, he left, went West, joined a place called E05 and only admitted he was from the Far East, nothing more and nothing less. The fucktard Alphas in the car had tried to get to him, but he kicked their asses, made sure they regretted their choice, even if it left him injured and hurt behind an inn in the town. He barely recalls a lot of the early time he spent at Mario's, most of it a haze of pain and nothing, but he does know he was extremely grateful once he did wake up. He's lived here 3 years now, is going to be turning 18 within the next few months, and he's enjoyed it.

Sure, living with Mario - who is a Beta - took some adjusting, as well as getting jobs, since he was new, but Jin - a fellow Omega - vouched for him after they went out on a drive together, and the jobs started coming in easier. He makes a few allies in the military. The kids, they all take to wearing the bracelets, after a Beta stand owner backs down from punching Naji upon smelling it, instead shoving him away and telling him to scram, all of them glad it works, since it means less people mess with them. Lizzy is an Alpha, but she's also still a kid, so most people don't care about messing with her.

Kidow is glad it works as well, makes sure to start doing it once Illie joins them as well, gives her a bracelet that smells of Omega, making sure she wears it, though he really doesn't have to, not since she wears it everyday, might not ever take it off except for when she bathes. Her surprise at smelling it on the kids in the slums is not as strong as she was suspecting, it was part of the reason she was able to find the girl anyways. Lizzy and her manage to bond, one of the other kids joining them, but neither of them have the wallet, which means she'll have to wait until the last one shows up in order to retrieve it.
