Yeaaaa dude really put a gun to a child's head. Now you know I'm not exaggerating when I say Piltover is full of shit people. Yet we're the savages?? You can kiss my savage ass.
Anyway, where was I?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~My heart pounded out of my chest and my eyes grew wide.
"KID! What the hell are you doing?!" The female enforcer strained as she got up slowly, still hurting from my mother's kick.
"I-I'm sorry. I-" the man stuttered as he shakily held the gun. "I'm just...IM TIRED OF LETTING THESE RATS RUN AROUND THE STREETS HOWEVER THEY PLEASE!"
My father took a step toward us. The man turned towards him and put the gun to my head. I let out a loud whimper. My father's eyes deadened as he stared at the man.
"Look at what you've done! T-Take a look around! Look at all this death and destruction!" The man screamed at my father. "Look at your daughter! She's a child and has already assaulted multiple enforcers including myself! Look at what you're teaching the younger generation!"
"WHAT WE'RE TEACHING THEM?! YOU HAVE A DAMN GUN TO MY CHILDS HEAD AND MY WIFE IN HANDCUFFS, BOTH TERRIFIED FOR THEIR VERY LIVES!" My father's voice boomed throughout the area. I swear I could feel the bridge shake a bit. "You people are the only reason a child as young as she is must learn self defense."
"Kid listen. I understand your anger but this isn't the way that we do things" The female enforcer said as she walked past my mother, approaching us carefully. "Backup will arrive at any minute. This wasn't necessary."
"I-it's the only thing I could think of...to get them to listen" The man's voice cracked.
"Still you know this isn't right. Just hand it over." She slowly reached for the gun and gently took it from him.
I kept my eyes on my father who's eyes softened as he stared at me. I could see the message he was trying to send me. My father had trained me to read his expressions and know his signals. Everything would be ok and he had a plan. I just needed to stay calm and not make any sudden moves.
The enforcer gently put me down and I immediately ran to my father. He moved me behind him in a protective manner. I looked up to my father who turned around to me. He smirked and looked up to Sevika. She slightly nodded and grabbed my shoulder, pulling me back towards her. He looked back to the female enforcer and took a step forward with confidence.
"I'm ready to cut a deal." My father spoke. "You walk away now but leave the kid and my wife. We'll need to teach him a little lesson. But don't worry we won't kill him." He stared the male enforcer down.
The male enforcer smirked and narrowed his eyes at my father. "Do you really think you're in a position to be making demands?!" He shouted.
"It's over, Vander. Back up is already on its way." The female enforcer said in a gentle tone.
My father gave a sly smile and pounded his gauntlets together. "Exactly." He simply stated.
Suddenly, my mother tackled the female enforcer to the ground just as my father ran at the male enforcer. Sevika quickly reached for my whistle and blew into it, holding the note for a long while.
I didn't know it back then but all three of them had been communicating with each other the entire time. My mother had been working on her handcuffs while the enforcers had their backs turned, my father was keeping the enforcers on their toes and making sure all their attention was on him, and Sevika had been giving small messages to the rest of our people on the other side of the bridge with a laser pointer.
