"Stop! Get your hands off me"

"Leave her alone!"

I felt repeated kicks at my boots as I watched Scar throw Vi over his shoulder and walk out of the room. I smirked down at the female enforcer as she desperately kicked around, unable to see what was happening due to the sack over her head. She pulled at the restraints on her hands.

"Calm down, princess" I chuckled from under my mask as I lightly kicked her away from me.

I followed Scar out of the room and along the pathway of the tree. The rest of the Firelights stared as we took Vi to Ekko. We walked up a flight of stairs and ended up at a metal door. I pushed open the door for Scar and allowed him to walk in. Scar chained Vi up to a pipe that stood in the middle of the room across from where Ekko sat. I leaned against Ekko's chair and watched as Scar took off the sack over VI's face. He snarled and turned away from her before approaching us.

I nodded my head towards the door and crossed my arms. Scar grunted and walked out of the room, the heavy metal door closing behind him, leaving the three of us alone.

"You shy or just ugly" Vi scoffed as she referred to the masks over our face.

Ekko stood up and began walking towards her. He took off his mask and rolled his head. He narrowed his eyes at her before speaking.

"You look good for a dead girl" he said to her.

Vi squinted her eyes as she examined him. Her jaw dropped as she found herself at a loss for words.

"Ekko?" She said in disbelief.

"What do you know about this?" Ekko asked her as he opened up a device containing the glowing blue marble.

"N-nothing! What the hell is this about?!" Vi said in frustration.

"What were you doing with Jinx?" Ekko asked.

"Her name is Powder" Vi said, offended as she stood up. "And I just found her when you and your goons showed up! It's me, Vi! Same person that used to take you down to the junkies and hose ya down when you got covered in grease!"

I chuckled as I recalled the memory. VI's head snapped toward me as she narrowed her eyes. Ekko grew quiet and shook his head.

"That was a long time ago" He said after a short pause. "People change"

"Yea...I'm getting that" Vi sighed.

"Are...are you working for Silco?" Ekko asked.

"Fuck you" Vi said offended.

"I thought you were dead!" Ekko shouted as he began to pace back and forth in front of her. "Now you show up with a pilty and give her a tour of the Lanes"

"You were following us! Why didn't you say something?!" Vi shouted back.

"I didn't know if I could trust you!" Ekko said.

"So...so you just come out swinging?!" Vi said.

"Gee, I wonder who I learned that from" Ekko scoffed.

"Well you should've learned more! You still punch like a little boy!" Vi shouted.

"And you still block with your face!" Ekko shouted back, getting in her face.

Vi sighed and leaned against the pipe. "I remember when you didn't stand up to me"

After a short pause, Vi got off the pipe and threw her arms around Ekko. I immediately went for my chain knife, surprised by her sudden movements. VI's cuffs hung around one of her wrists as she embraced Ekko.
