Chapter 9 Devil's Room

I let out a sign of relief when he did not take her side, I thought am already done for. If it wasn't for this stupid girl I won't be in a fight with her. She love bossing everyone around like she own the damn house. How dear her slap a maid just because she ask for a juice and she made a mistake and bring her water. I know this place is not my house but it also not hers. I went to the sitting room. I put on the TV with the help of the maid. This is my first time using a TV, so I did not get it right and the maid help me out with it. There is really nothing much going on, so I keep changing the channel, I still couldn't find something interesting. I stand up from the sitting room, I went to a maid and tell her to take me to the library. When I get to the library, there are so many books that one can't finish for a year.

I keep browsing true the books, I settle on a business, account book. It account book, there isn't a damn story here, all the book are account, science and so many other books I don't No or maybe there are some story book here, I just can't find it but I don't know, So I settle with the account book. I did not know it already late, my stomach keep making noise but I ignore it. I keep solving the problem in the account book. When I checked mine with the one in the text book, I get mine wrong. I did not give up, I keep doing it and I keep failing. Seriously what so hard about this that I can't solve, I said to myself. Am so engross with my solving that I did not notice when someone come in. Who told you, you can come in here, I heard. Oh my God, you scared me, I said while putting my hand on my chest.

And who are you to lecture me, I ask. Am Olivia, Tyler finance's, she said with a proud attitude. Oh! Am just bored, so I was looking for something to do, to keep myself occupied, I said and try calming my shaking voice and thank God it did not disappoint me. If you are bored why don't you help me with some of my clothes, I need to wash it and the maids are busy, she said with a smile on her face. Ok, I said and follow her to her room, but not without taking the book with me. When we get to her room, it not different from by room just the colors are different. And when you done with my, T has some dirty clothes he need to wash, you should go get it in his room, she said dismissively.

My stomach keep making noise but I did not pay attention to it. Mrs. Colman isn't around she's out station. So I need to keep my head low, till she's back. I don't want to get killed. I went out of the house, I went to the backyard I think. Because I don't really know my way here. I wash the clothes she give me to wash, all the clothes are not even dirty, why will they wash a clothes when it not dirty. I thought to myself. By the time am done with the washing, it already past eleven in the night. I dry the clothes on the robe and went inside. I did not see any maids around anymore, maybe they all went to sleep. I make my way to the devil room. I did not know if this is his room, I knock. I open the door when their was no response.

The light isn't on.
