Ame had never felt this many emotions before. She felt angry, at herself for not looking hard enough and at the school and master Lin for not telling her about her dad. She felt sad because her dad died and she never had a chance at meeting him or a chance at a somewhat normal life. She felt happy, because her dad did survive, and he did look for her. She felt distraught because what she had believed all her life wasn't true.

Truly Ame did not know how to feel, what to do.

The broken girl picked up her phone and the letters, looked at the phone number written on it. She dialled the number and put the phone towards her ear, listening to it ring, hoping someone would pick up... When the beeping stopped Ame got quiet, stopping her breathing,

"Hello, I'm sorry I couldn't pick up the phone but call me back! Have a great day!"

His voice, even though she hadn't seen or heard her dad in years, she recognized it. This was her breaking point, she knew how she felt, an overwhelming sadness came over the girl as she started heavily breathing and crying, she was having a panic attack.

Panic attacks weren't new to the girl, but she hadn't had one in almost a year. She used to call Cedric whenever she had one and Billy wasn't there to comfort and help her. Through watery eyes she managed to call Cedric, putting the phone to her ear once again, she hoped he'd be able to pick up, that hadn't spoken in a month.

"Ame, hi, I'm so sorry can I call you back tonight, my shift starts in a few?" The boy immediately told his sister as he picked up, but on the other end of the line, it stayed silent. "Ame, are you there, are you okay?" Cedric asked the girl, she wasn't ever quiet like this when she called.

"I....He... He's ..." The girl stumbled with her words, unable to really form a sentence through her distraught state. "Breathe with me Ame, In............. and out........In, out. Take it easy, I'm here keep breathing" Cedric was shocked to hear his sister crying over the phone. Ame calmed down after about 10 minutes of following Cedric's orders.

"Now tell me what's going on," The worried brother asked.
"He-he's dead Ced, my- my father is dead, he didn't die that day he- he died Ced and It's my fault he never got to see me, I don't have a dad anymore Ced" The girl cried to her brother. Cedric had to process this, he wanted to ask so many things, questions running through his mind, but he couldn't, the girl was not in a state where she could answer his questions, he would have to give it time.

"I'm going to tell you what I think he'd say to you, Ame. It's not your fault, you did what you could do, but instead of falling into a pit of sadness, you stood up, you went on with your life, you made your own family, who you treat so well. You became such a strong, nice and loving person. It's not your fault you didn't cross paths. Instead of looking for you, he is now with you, at all times, together with your mom, they're with you now, looking out for you. You are the greatest person I've ever met, Ame. I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for you Ame, you gave me the courage to leave my miserable life. I wouldn't have left if you wouldn't be by my side, Ame. And your dad will be able to see you now, see how incredible his daughter is, how strong she is, and he'll get to do that with your mom. They're at piece now Ame. You'll never be alone Ame, your parents there with you, and not to mention me and the rest of your family, family isn't just a blood relation, you choose your own family, we love you Ame, your parents love you, and all you can do is live a great live, be happy in memory of them." Cedric told the girl, he loved this girl to pieces and it hurt so much to know in what state she was and he wasn't able to be there.
