I'm nervous.
I'm almost finished getting ready but I'm so nervous. I have all my weapons displayed on the dinner table. I have already downed a coffee, and I shouldn't take another but I do. Never have I ever been this nervous before. Not even before escaping the home with Cedric, because I had him with me, I wasn't alone. Now I am, all alone. I might have help, but can I trust them, I don't know a single thing about them.
I planned on meeting Dawn in the woods at 18:30, so it was time to go, looking back at my home a faint smile found its way onto my face. I'm happy I got to see this place again. But I'm so happy that after this, I'll be going home, to my family.
As much as I always wished for a normal life. I appreciate and love what I have now so much. I wouldn't change it for the world.

Dawn was already there. along with another girl, one I recognized, Emery.
"Emery, is it really you?" I hugged the girl, next to Cedric she to who I was closest too, who I sat and next to during class, who held my hand when my name called to go the the room. The girl I left behind."It's me, I've missed you" She smiled at me, not a single spark of hate could be found in her expression, watery eyes as she too knew she'd finally be free.
Emery was placed in the house just a year after me, she didn't have any family left after her grandmother passed, and was forced to live on the streets at just 7 years old, so she was picked up, an easy target for the home. Being the same age in the home made you automatically stick together, being the youngest there, this made us close too.
We caught up on the plan and decided Dawn and Emery would take the front entrance, as they wouldn't be suspicious, the front wasn't strongly guarded, but backup would be called sooner, the girls could take the two guards out before they would be suspicious of the two.
I'd take the back.
Four guards laughing at a stupid sexist joke. It made my blood boil. So slowly I made my way closer to them. Throwing a rock someplace else, hoping to divide them from one another, it worked.
"We'll stay here, go check on it."
men are so easily fooled
As the man approached he looked around, obviously seeing nothing. "It's clear" he yelled back to the others with his back facing me, absolutely perfect. slicing his throat in a fast motion I pulled him back quietly and sat him against the building. I grabbed his card, easy for access inside I guess.
"What's taking so long dude" "Go check on him, he might just be pissing" "Alright, I'll be right back."
And just as easily as the first, the second man was now dead, as next to his other pal. I also took his card, I could give it to either Dawn or Emery.
