𝐠𝐨𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 | 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴

𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆

For the first time in years, Ame felt weak. She had cried so much she ran out of tears. Her muscles were aching. Mentally and physically she was exhausted.

Her friends were the only thing that kept her going. They kept her company and tried to take her mind off things by telling her what happened in classes, how Viktor is now the biggest douche in the school, how Billy was pranking their classmates, but getting caught by the teacher and how Billy had some sort of thing with Miss De Luca, which was obviously just to make Petra jealous, which was kind off working Petra had told her. Ame was well caught up with the thing that happened outside of her room. However, no one had mentioned Marcus or Maria, Ame knew her friends were trying to avoid talking about the two, even when Ame asked them.

Ame tried to put up a smile when her friends were around, she didn't want to be a burden but she felt like one, so the least she could do was act like she was alright and have a good time with her friends, and don't get her wrong, she loves her friends, and likes when they're around, but she couldn't explain how she felt, she wanted to be alone, but she also wanted company.

Her friends however saw through her facade, they came together in Billy and Lex's room. They were all worried about their friends. She wouldn't leave her room and they wanted old, happy and energetic Ame back.

"I just don't know what we can do" Lex exclaimed, troubled by the thought of how to get his friend back. "She needs someone that can help her, comfort her" Billy stated
"We've all been through losses, we can help her, we're her friends," Saya said, questioning why they would need anyone else.
"No no, she won't allow herself to grief with us, it'll make her feel like a burden" Billy explained, knowing his best friend like the inside of his pocket.

"Who do you guys go to when you need comfort or support?" Lex asked the group

"I go see my mom and brother," Billy said
"I usually go to Ame," Petra told the group, Ame was a very good listener.
"I Uhm, I go to Master Lin, he's like a father to me," Saya told the group, looking down at the ground, embarrassed to speak on her relationship with the teacher.

"No no don't be embarrassed, that's good, is Ame close with any teacher?" Billy asked the group.

"Wouldn't she just need her brother?"
"Well, ultimately, yes, but we can't make her brother come here, she doesn't want anyone to know of his existence," Billy explained

"Well, both Master Zane and Miss De Luca have asked if there was anything they could do, so I guess she is on good terms with them," Lex said
"Ame took extra classes with Miss De Luca for months, I guess we could ask her. It's also a woman, which will probably make her a bit more comfortable?" Saya asked

"That's a good idea," Petra said

"Petra and I will ask her, you guys do the last of the preparation for tomorrow" Saya divided the tasks, as there were still a few things that needed to be taken care of for tomorrow, Ame's birthday.
