I watched Craig beat the living shit out of my offender. He was full of anger. I could feel his aura from where I stood, and I'm not going to lie, it scared me.

"I'm sorry Tucker, if I would've known she was your girl, I would've stayed away," the blonde on the ground pleaded.

"Damn right, she is my girl. Now, get your sorry ass out of here, before I do some real damage," Craig threatened.

The teenager got up and limped away for his life. I looked to Craig who had a dark look on his face. He walked towards me, and I stumbled back to the wall.

"Let's go, I'll walk you home," he ordered.

I ran over to grab my stuff that I had dropped and then chased after Craig to catch up. We walked in silence the entire way. I was too nervous to say anything to him and too confused. I spent the entire way just replaying the entire situation in my head until it made since.

"Damn right, she is my girl."

The same phrase kept going through my head. Was he serous? Did he actually mean it? I looked at his emotionless face. That gave me no hints, either. While I was looking, I realized how tall he was. That just made him more attractive. Plus, you add in the account of his blue eyes and prefect facial features. He was pretty perfect. I wouldn't mind being is girl, but first I have to know whether he was serous or not.

I had been too lost in my thoughts to even recognize the fact that we had made it to my house. Craig walked me to my door when the thought had occurred to me.

"How did you know where I live?" I interrogated.

"It's a small town, news travels fast. Plus, I live just down the block, and I saw the moving truck," he said in monotone voice. He started to walk away. He, then, turned back around to tell me, "Oh, and next time, don't walk alone through Main Street at night." Craig turned back around and was off.

The question was killing me. I had to know, "Craig, wait."

He turned back around with a raised eyebrow.

I took a hard sallow, "Thank you for coming to my rescue. And, I have to ask, um.....when you said that....I was... well-"

"Spit it out," he interrupted.

I took at deep breath, "What did you mean when you said I was your girl?"

He gave me a blank stare before getting a frustrated look upon his face, "Look (Y/N), not to be rude, but I couldn't care less about you. To be quite honest, I find you to be annoying and stuck up your ass like every other girl in this town, and that's only from what I saw today. The only reason I helped you was because jackasses like that dick back there piss me off. So, don't go flattering yourself by thinking I like you. From what I've seen so far, you are going to fit in with every other bitch and slut in this town."

I was speechless. How could he? What gave him the right to say any of that? To think I almost liked him! Before I could say any of the things rushing though my mind, Craig was already gone.

My insides hurt. "What a jerk. He can't say that kind of stuff to me. He doesn't know me," I mutter to myself as I unlocked my front door. As I mumble my own thoughts under my breath, I felt a tear stream down my face. Then, more came and more. Before I knew it, I was bawling. I ran to me room and cuddled into me bed to get some sort of comfort that I needed.

That stupid jerk actually got to me.
