Chapter TwentyFour : Change

Erza POV

"Lucy, whats going on?" I asked, my sword gripped tightly in my hands. She smiled, twisting her head to the side as if what she was doing wasn't strange at all.

"Me and Zeref are a thing now! Aren't you happy for me?" She asked, everyone gawping.

"L-Lucy, your pulling our legs here, right?" stuttered Sting, his hands still pulled into fists.

She shook her head, the uncomfortable smile she had on her face sending chills down my back. I could feel Kastile tap my shoulder, whispering in my ear. "Something's not right here Erza."

I nodded. Lucy was acting strange.
"I agree. Zeref's behind all this."

We all stared in amazement as Jeff ran towards the Dark Wizard, his fist turning into a tough metal. As he was seconds away from impact, Lucy jumped in front, holding his fist back with a single finger.

Her warm smile turned into a heartless scowl, Zeref standing silently behind. She raised her finger to Jeff's forhead, muttering quiet words.

"Your weak."

With that, she touched his head, sending him flying to the other end of the room. As we watched, we charged, aiming for Zeref.
"Hold on guys!!" We heard someone shout, everyone stopping immediately. As we turned back around, we saw Wendy standing there, her eyes full of worry.

"Zeref! He looks serious."

I turned my head back around, finding Zeref standing there with Lucy beside him, his eyes filled with hunger for the kill.

"You attack now, he'll kill you. With Lucy's help as well."

I turned to Lucy, who had the same stare.

"We're not fighting anymore?" Lucy whined, tilting her head. As she did, a familiar necklace around her neck was revealed.

Natsu's necklace!

But this time, it was tinted black.

"Let's go Lucy." Zeref said, calming down. We all gasped as Lucy locked lips with Zeref, both of them fading away using teleportation magic. I quickly ran towards them, but they faded too soon, my hand touching nothing but the vapour left behind.

I fell to my knees, my weapon returning to its dimension.

L-Lucy can't be gone.....can she?

Ok, so the book is going in the right direction, but i decided to let you guys choose the ending. Don't get me wrong, the book still has about 10 - 19 chapters to go, but this decision will decide the final outcome of the book, and the main story plot of the third book, so A LOT is at stake here!
