Beautiful night

It was quiet and calm. The sound of the ocean could be heard faintly as the waves crashed against the beach and receded.

She looked at him as he spoke, taking in every move of him. The way he talked, the way his voice sounded and the way his lips moved when he spoke relaxed her. It was one of the most beautiful things to do, listen to him, no matter what he was talking about.

They both burst out laughing. As soon as they arrived at the beach, they had decided to take off their shoes after all. The sand was no longer as hot as it had been in the blazing afternoon sun. It was pleasant.

She grinned at him and he started to smile too. He took her by the hand and led her through a small bush.

Walking along a narrow path and crawling through one last bush, they finally arrived. She was amazed when she saw what he meant. In front of them were two large, wide trees with a hammock stretched between them. A small house stood to the right, it was white and gray with a black roof. A string of lights stretched through the treetops and along the gutter.
