BETH: I hope not! The girls are only 5 months old!
Gabby smiled
GABBY: No more drinking until you do a test!
BETH: I've hardly drank a thing
GABBY: I know. Matt and I noticed!
Beth half laughed
GABBY: And you're normally telling everyone how much you love them by the main course!
She put her arm around Beth's shoulder
BETH: I'm so embarrassing!
GABBY: You'll be fine! And you're not embarrassing , you're funny!
BETH: Don't say anything to Kelly until I know for sure
GABBY: I won't say a word
Meanwhile back out in the restaurant
Kelly was finishing his steak
SHAYLYNN: I think Beth's pregnant!
KELLY: What?
SHAYLYNN: She hardly eaten anything and she's had two sips of wine all night! That's not like her!
KELLY: Oh great. The twins are only 5 months old.
SHAYLYNN: So, they'll all be closer in age!
KELLY: We never wanted another one for a little while
SHAYLNN: Well keep in your pants Severide!
JAY: The snakes gotta get out sometimes!
Kelly, Matt and Jay laughed
KELLY: We'll said Jay!
Kelly spotted Gabby and Beth walking back
KELLY: There they are
Kelly quickly tipped Beth's wine into his wine glass and downed it. Matt laughed.
KELLY: She won't miss it
Gabby and Beth sat back down. Beth and Kelly looked at each other and smiled. She rested her hand on his knee.
BETH: Where's my wine?
KELLY: You must've drank it.
BETH: I never, I only had a few mouthfuls.
KELLY: I drank it
He smiled at her. She knew he knew.
BETH: Okay. You'd better pour me a glass of water then.
They began talking between themselves
KELLY: How long have you known!
BETH: I don't know if I am yet. I haven't took a test. Kelly the girls are still so little! (quietly)
He stroked her face
KELLY: Everything's gonna be alright babe. Well stop and get a test on the way home
BETH: I already have some at home
Kelly nodded. A tear ran down her cheek
KELLY: Hey
She looked at him
BETH: I'm so scared
KELLY: Don't be, it went fine last time didn't it?
