Beth sat on the floor next to the girls after Kelly made her a cup of coffee.
BETH: So when is he going for the paternity test?
KELLY: We haven't discussed that yet
Beth looked at her daughters who were still asleep in their bouncy chairs.
BETH: I'm having my lawyer draw up some papers
KELLY: Sying what?
Kelly sat on the couch
BETH: That if Rosie is his he can't just take her from us
KELLY: It won't come to that honey
BETH: I'm just making sure. I mean he's hardly home for the two kids he already has!
KELLY: It's his job that keeps him away
BETH: Why didn't he bring them on the trip?
KELLY: That would mean taking them out of school
Beth turned around and looked up at him, she had tears in her eyes
KELLY: Come and sit next to me
BETH: Take my coffee from me please
Kelly took Beth's coffee cup from her and put it on the coffee table
BETH: Thanks
Beth got up from the floor and sat next to him. He put his arm around her and kissed her cheek.
KELLY: I don't like seeing you upset
BETH: I just don't want to think about Rosie being his. She's been in our lives all these years and ......
KELLY: Shhhh
He kissed her again
BETH: This is nice. I missed you last night
KELLY: I missed you too
Kelly was staring at the girls
KELLY: Do you think were over protective over the girls?
BETH: No! We're not doing it enough!
He put his hand over hers and squeezed it
KELLY: We have't even talked about having more ?
BETH: Not yet Kelly!
KELLY: I don't mean right now (laughing)
BETH: Maybe in a few years, just one more. But if anything happens then that's it. You can have a vasectomy!
KELLY: Ouch, I remember when Herman got his! He could hardly sit down!
Beth laughed
KELLY: It was a surprise wedding anniversary gift for Cindy!
BETH: Oh my god, you're joking? (laughing)
KELLY: No! She said it was the best gift she ever recieved!
BETH: I bet after all the kids she's had! I haven't spoken to her in a while! I'll invite her over when we get back from Laguna
KELLY: Hermann and Cindy adore you
BETH: Aww, I love them both, they're such good people!
