Shaylynn glared at him
SHAYLYNN: You fucking what?
JAY: You heard me
Shaylynn got up from her seat and walked right up to Jay, she pushed his chest hard!
SHAYLYNN: You and Beth!? I'm gonna fucking kill her, then you!
JAY: She thought it was hilarious! Said it was like kissing her brother!
SHAYLYNN: I don't believe this! You bastard! How could you! How could Beth do this to me?
JAY: We were both totally drunk! You saw the state I was in when I got home!
SHAYLYNN: It doesn't matter how drunk you both were! She's my cousin!
Shaylynn grabbed her phone
JAY: Who are you phoning?
SHAYLYNN: Kelly, to tell him!
JAY: Leave them be tonight, aren't they going through enough?
SHAYLYNN: No, he deserves to know!
JAY: For fuck sake, I should've kept it to myself!
SHAYLYNN: You can't hide anything from me Jay Halstead!
JAY: Don't I know it!
SHAYLYNN: And you can find somewhere else to sleep tonight!
Back over to Beth and Kelly's.
Looking at herself in the bathroom mirror as Beth brushed her teeth, she thought about the dumb ass kiss she and Jay had at TAO She sighed out loud. It wasn't even that good as she remembered. A weeks away with Mark and nothing! A few hours with her cousins husband and this! Kelly walked into the bathroom. He smiled at her refection.
KELLY: You okay?
She spat out the toothpaste in the sink and began to clean it.
BETH: No, not really.
KELLY: What is it?
BETH: When i saw you at Molly's with that woman I was so mad!
KELLY: She's nothing to me! just someone I work with!
BETH: Kelly, .... Jay and I kissed last night at TAO!
There was a look of shock on Kelly's face, then he laughed
KELLY: Don't be so stupid! (laughing)
Beth never laughed
KELLY: You and Jay?!
BETH: It was stupid! We were both so drunk!
He shook his head
BETH: I told him it was like kissing Jamie!
KELLY: So that makes it alright does it?
He began to walk away
BETH: Where are you going?
KELLY: I'm going to see Jay! And I'm gonna knock him out!
BETH: It wasn't just his fault! Kelly It lasted a split second!
Kelly stopped then went back to Beth
KELLY: One second one hour! It makes no difference! How do you think Shaylynn will feel about this?
