I felt something wet and cold lightly drench my skin. I immediately shot up. Raising my hand, I quickly glide it across my cheek. I soon realize that I was drooling.

Eck! I thought, seeing the small pool of drool on my pillow case. Climbing off my bed, I realized that I must have fallen asleep after my talk with Nik.

Nik.... I haven't talked with him like that in forever. But it doesn't matter anyways. I basically just broke his heart over the phone like a coward. What's wrong with you, Ava?

Instantly, I felt all nasty. I zoomed into my bathroom, starting the shower. After taking a thoughtless shower, I took care of my necessities. I decided on wearing a black holster top with black crochet high rise shorts, a long blue Tasel Kimono and my combat boots. Along with the necklace and my engagement/wedding ring, Nik gave me.

I was walking my way down the stairs, hearing Stefan talking to Damon.

"How are you, Rippah?" I asked smiling and nudging Stefan with my elbow.

"Just laughing at the fact that your bestfriend is tied up to a chair with a poker sticking out of him."

My eyes grew wide as I saw the exact image Stefan was telling. Dames sat in an old wooden chair, chained up and mutilated by a poker. I zoomed over to Damon and looked up at Stefan and gave him a questioning glare.

"I didn't do this." Stefan defended.

"Stop screwing with me!" Damon growled.

"I didn't." He kept defending.

"Ahh." Damon groaned.

"It's pretty messed up though, isn't it?" Stef asks pulling out the poker. Dames groaned as Stefan walked away.

"Not to worry. I'll just untangle myself." I giggle a bit. I go to untangle Damon when suddenly the curtains are yanked open, burning him. I look over and see a bulky, brunette man with blue eyes. He seems to be smiling creepily.

"Who the hell are you?" I ask a bit loudly. The man looks up at me in shock and then disappears. I zoom over to the curtains and shut them quick. Allowing Damon to heal.

Damon left a while ago to talk to Bonnie as I just decided to go for a quick hike up the Mystic Falls mountain. When I reached the top, I stood admiring the view.

I bet Avangeline would enjoy this view.

Immediately, thoughts of Avangeline ran through my head. Oh, how I really missed her. I mean I could say things to her and she would hear them, seeing that she's on the other side, but I could never hear her answers or her great advice. Speaking of advice, I could really use it on this whole Niklaus and doppelganger thing.

"Avangeline.... I really miss you...." I took a deep breath before continuing. "I think I really screwed up with, Niklaus. You should of heard what I said to him on the cellular device. Well, you probably did." I laughed a bit to myself. "I regret every single mean thing I said to him. I just.... I just have to protect him from you-know-who. I don't want them hurting him in punishment for not killing the doppelganger of Amara." I let out the last bit of my rant with an exhausted sigh.

Sitting there for a few moments, staring at the sky, all thoughts of Avangeline and Niklaus on my mind. "I hope you saw our wedding in the 20's! It was a pretty beautiful sight." I commented with a smile spread across my face.

"I thought it was the most graceful ceremony I have ever been too."

All of my insides instantly froze. Was that Avangeline's voice?
