Chapter 20: The First Step

Izuku had plans and although he was all set, he was still nervous. But who wouldn't be? The first person you meet in your new neighborhood is a handsome guy, around your age, definitely your type, how would you not be nervous?

After completely overthinking and running different possible outcomes through his mind, Izuku decided once and for all that he's just going to do it. He may be anxious, but it's better than missing a chance. Besides, if he ever makes Katsuki uncomfortable, he's willing to stop and apologize. If that happens he hopes they can stay friends at least, but maybe things will go great and his plan will work.

It was a regular weekend, both the Bakusquad and the Dekusquad agreed to meet up since the week was pretty easy going. No stressing homework or projects which was good for all of them because the previous week was the opposite.

Izuku heard from Shouto that he and Hanta have started going on dates together. Apparently it was going great too. The greenette was glad that the two were happy with each other. Though they aren't technically officially dating. It's kind of a casual thing for now. Shouto said they want to take it slow, but they definitely have chemistry and it shows. Izuku is sure things will be made official soon and they'll be PDAing everywhere.

As for the green haired teen, he's worried... It's been almost two weeks since his and Shouto's talk with Mina. But he didn't know when the right time was to execute his plan or how to even go about doing it, but if he doesn't do anything at all the advice she gave would go to waste and he didn't want that. He can't let her or himself down.

Izuku felt a little at ease since they were technically having a group date. Most of them were paired with someone. Tenya was with Ochako and Tsuyu. Denki with his boyfriend, Hitoshi Shinsou. Kyouka with her girlfriend, Momo Yaoyorozu. Hanta and Shouto were together as well so that left Katsuki and Izuku together.

This was, maybe, the perfect moment.

"Ka- Kacchan, how ha- have you b- been?" Izuku asked

"Fine, but pretty borin'." Katsuki shrugged

"N- nothing m- ajor happened?" Izuku questioned as Katsuki shook his head before eating his spicy burrito that they got on the way

"T- that's go- good." Izuku nodded, sipping his juice

"How 'bout you?" Katsuki asked in return

"Oh, um, t- there's not re- really much go- ing on w- with me at sch- scho- school or at home." Izuku answered

Katsuki nodded

"How's Auntie?"

"S- she's doing g- great, she's w- with Ya- Ya- Yagi-san a lot." Izuku answered

"Tch- must be fuckin' makin' babies." Katsuki rolled his eyes

"D- don't s- s- say it li- like th- that, Kacchan!" Izuku whined

"What? It's true. You really gonna deny it after what we say that day?" Katsuki asked him

"W- we- well, no... but still!" Izuku stated

"Whatever." Katsuki shook his head

"Why'd you ask anyway?"

"I- I was jus- just wo- wonder- wondering if yo- you're f- free s- sometime... this week..." Izuku mumbled as the blonde nodded

"In a few days. I'm being forced to take time off." Katsuki said

"R- really?" Izuku asked as Katsuki nodded at him

"When is th- that?" He asked again

"Hmm.. Next week, Sunday till Tuesday." Katsuki replied

"Why?"
