Chapter 57: Dinner at the Midoriya's with Yagi!

The credits soon rolled in and Izuku and Katsuki smiled to themselves. It was a good movie in their books. There was a knock on the door a few seconds later. The greenette got off of his bed to walk to his door and open it. He saw his mother waiting by the door with a smile.

"W- what's u- up, Mom?" He asked

"Sorry if I'm disturbing you two! Dinner just finished and we're plating it now, if you're done with whatever you were doing then please get ready for dinner!" She said

"W- we a- are! We we- were w- watching a mo- movie." Izuku told her

"Then that's great! Food will be served when you're both out, take your time boys!" Inko smiled as she replied before she bid goodbye then walked away, probably back to the kitchen

The boys of course nodded at her and told her that they'll be there, of course not after a little chat.

"W- what di- did y- you thi- think o- of t- the m- movie?" Izuku asked

"I thought it was great, those two really need to figure themselves out more. They've got a lot of shit to talk about." Katsuki said with a light chuckle

Izuku giggled as he nodded in agreement.
"Ri- right? I s- still ca- can't b- believe it to- took t- them thi- this lo- long to f- figure o- out whe- when th- they we- were i- in t- the v- verge o- of de- death!" He said

The blonde hummed.
"Yeah, they got there though eventually so that's what matters. And they basically saved the world so now they've got all the fuckin' time figure their selves out." Katsuki replied making Izuku nod again with a smile

"I- I'm g- glad yo- you fo- found i- it g- good!" Izuku smiled up at him making Katsuki's heart clench at how cute it was

"No problem, we watched it together too so that's good too." Katsuki added, cheeks lightly blushing at his statement but didn't take it back

The greenette blushed also but only smiled wider and moved to hug the blonde.
"T- thank yo- you." Izuku said

"Don't worry 'bout it, Zu." The taller replied, hugging him back as he ruffled his green hair softly

"Why don't we get up and go to have dinner? Your Mom and Yagi-san must be waiting." Katsuki suggested as he looked down at him

Izuku hummed.
"O- okay!" He agreed once more

The two got over the bliss of being alone at the smaller's room, even though it was just for an hour and a few minutes, it was still fun for the both of them. They got to hug and be close.

They exited out and Katsuki let Izuku walk out first with him following behind as the smaller led him to the kitchen where in fact the couple were, just finished with putting the food on the table.

"Y- you ma- made a l- lot, M- mom!" Izuku said as he noticed, perking up at the amount of the food she had kindly made for the night

"I did! It was fun, Yagi even helped. I had to because we have visitors, you know that I'm always happy to make food for anyone." Inko giggled as Yagi pulled out a chair for his significant other before beckoning her to sit which she did with a sweet thanks

"I helped which I did my best for since I'm not the best cook out there, I think your mother is though." Yagi chuckled as he sat beside Inko

"You flatter me too much, dear." Inko blushed lightly as she held her cheeks

"I'm just stating the truth." Yagi smiled at her

"Thank you for inviting me to stay and have dinner." Katsuki politely said. He definitely noticed the sweet gesture that Yagi had done for Inko and he wanted to do the same so he did which kind of surprised Izuku who blushed but thanked him with a smile as he sat down

"Don't mention it, sweetie! There's more in the kitchen, you can take some home for your parents! I haven't seen them in a while." Inko replied

"I will then, and the old- I mean Ma and Pa, have been good, you know how they are. I'll let them know you asked though." Katsuki bowed

The older lady giggled as she nodded.
"I'm glad and please do, I appreciate it." Inko said

"Why don't we start with dinner? I'm sure you boys are hungry after being out for the day." Yagi suggested after a bit

"O- okay! I- itadakimasu!" Izuku said, clasping his hands before he started to get food

The older couple did the same with Yagi serving Inko hers first before himself. The younger boys saw it and of course wanted to do it.

Katsuki was about to but Izuku was already doing it as he reached for the blonde's bowl and put in a good serving of basically everything that his Mom had made. His hands were trembling but he did his best to calm down, this was his first time doing this!

The taller on the other hand, was taken aback and blushed at the sudden gesture but welcomed it nonetheless. He'd want to be the gentleman for once but Izuku beat him to it. Though, he wasn't complaining because the smaller looked really adorable with a focused look on his face and with such concentration for properly serving food just for him.

"Thanks, Zuku." Katsuki told him with a soft smile towards the greenette

"Yo- you're w- welcome, K- Kacchan!" I,uku replied as he quickly sat back down since he hadn't noticed that he stood up for that before he got his own food too then started to eat with red cheeks

The couple that has been watching them interact smiled to themselves as they knowingly faced each other before they started to dig into the deliciously warm food.
