Chapter 38: Mornings

The morning arrived soon, it was still pretty early and Katsuki and Izuku were still asleep. Their arms were around each other even though they've moved a lot throughout the night, yet they managed to stay close to each other while they slept.

Katsuki was laying on his back as he snores lightly while Izuku had his arm and leg of the same side lay on the blonde's body while he murmurs inaudible things in his sleep.

The sun managed to slip through the curtains of Katsuki's window and hit his eyes which woke him up, making him annoyed. He groaned and put an arm over his eyes as he sighed and reluctantly removed said arm as he looked around and down to the greenette that had his arm and leg over his body.

He was still sleeping of course, mouth slightly apart while he mumbles things that are barely inaudible. Seeing that made Katsuki's heart beat faster than ever inside his chest, it was unbelievable. He wished the smaller couldn't hear it through his sleep since his ear was close to his chest.

Katsuki stared as Izuku continued to sleep. He looked really cute while doing so and the blonde could feel himself falling even deeper in love for the man beside him.

When his mother called him to say that there was someone waiting for him at the door just to see Izuku on the couch, he was on the verge of crying. He didn't expect him to come here, to come to him for comfort. That's not really his thing, he's not good at it. He has a hard time expressing his own feelings so how can he help someone?

Yet here he was, cuddling with the person he's in love with as a result of last night. Izuku came to him because he trusted him, he wanted him because he specifically just wanted him, no one else. He has friends to depend on, not just Katsuki but he went out of his way to look for him and use his shoulder to cry on.

That did something to him and his heart. Good something.

He couldn't help not to lean closer to Izuku's face and plant a soft, gentle kiss on his forehead as he stayed there for a few seconds before he pulled away to admire the smaller's face once again while he blushed, his eyes were literally heart eyes.

He looked over at the time and internally groaned, he has to wake up Izuku now since he did have class today because it's a weekday. He wanted to cherish this moment more but it had to end somehow.

He looked back at Izuku and carefully tucked the hair into the greenette's ear then out of his eyes before he lightly tapped on his freckled cheek with his thumb that he used to caress said cheek.

"Izuku, wake up." He said, as quietly as he could as to not startle him but it didn't work. He did it again though.

"Izuku, you have class. You gotta wake up, Nerd." He stated and now he got a whine out of the greenette which means he was waking up and what he's doing is working

"Nngh..." Izuku whined

"You have to wake up now, you'll be late. You still have to get clothes back in y'all's house." Katsuki continued

"W- wanna s-sleep more.." Izuku said sleepily

"You can after class, aight?" Katsuki compromised

"Then you can come here again to sleep over if you want to." He added

"Re- really?" Izuku asked, definitely still sleepy

Katsuki chuckled and hummed.

"Mm, yeah. Sure you can, I'd like that." He replied, he definitely will and he could get used to moments like this

"Okay..." Izuku reluctantly agreed as he scratched his eyes to get rid of the remaining sleepiness

Katsuki smiled as he sat up and stretched his arms.

Izuku who had seemingly finally realized what happened, gasped when he saw Katsuki shirtless as if he didn't last night. The blonde looked over at him with a frown.

"Something wrong?" He asked as Izuku shook his head

Oh right, he barged in the Bakugou's home and looked for Katsuki then cried on his shoulder as he told him about Yo and Neito as they cuddled and he ate with his family then he stayed in their house, used Katsuki's closed, saw him shirtless before they slept together on one bed.

He blushed at the reminder of the previous day as a mixture of guilt, embarrassment and nervousness washed over him causing him to cover his face

Katsuki chuckled at him as he patted his head before he ruffled his curly green hair.

"Let's wash up and go downstairs. I can make you breakfast."

"Yo- you d- don't h- ave to, Kacchan!" Izuku stammered as he flailed his hands

"Tch- just accept it already, you can go back to your place to take a bath and change." Katsuki told him

"O- okay." Izuku replied

"Then maybe I can bring you to campus." Katsuki added

"Your mom usually does that, right?" He asked

Izuku nodded.

"Y- yes."

"Imma ask her to bring you to school myself. I'll get ready while you get ready and I'll wait for you outside of your place." The blonde told him

The green haired boy nodded at him.

"Al- alright." He said

"Let's get outta bed now then." Katsuki said as he stood up from the bed with a yawn

Izuku followed after as he stretched his body like he usually did, he had a good sleep which made him realize that his body didn't ache as much as it does when he sleeps on his bed, alone. Maybe sleeping and cuddling with Katsuki was good? Wait- no no! He can't think of that!

Katsuki had gone to the bathroom to gargle and wash his face. He wiped it dry and went back out to where Izuku was making his bed.

"You didn't have to, freckles but thanks." He told him

"I- it's okay, yo- you're w- welcome." Izuku replied

"Aight, you can go freshen up. I'll make us some food." Katsuki said as Izuku nodded

The smaller went to the bathroom while Katsuki went towards the door to open it so he could go out and down to the kitchen.

Katsuki quickly whipped up something for breakfast which was just some eggs, toast and bacon as well as his morning coffee. He left some for his parents.

When Izuku went downstairs, Katsuki had just finished plating up everything. He looked over at the entrance of the kitchen and saw the greenette.

"Hey 'Zuku, you can go sit down."

Izuku nodded and sat down on one of the chairs as he waited for Katsuki who was pouring himself a coffee before he went to sit in front of the smaller.

"Ya ready to eat?" He asked

"Mm-hmm!" Izuku replied

"Then let's eat, m' starving." Katsuki grumbled

The two ate in silence before Katsuki broke it.

"How's your sleep, Izuku?"

"I- it was go- od." Izuku answered

"Good." Katsuki nodded to himself as he stuffed his mouth with food

"Ho- how a- about you?" Izuku asked in return

"It was alright." Katsuki replied

Izuku nodded as the silence continued again. It wasn't uncomfortable or anything, nothing was uncomfortable when he's with Katsuki to Izuku. It was weird but he liked it. They continued to eat in silence as they enjoyed the food the blonde had so kindly made for them.
