Chapter 52: Catching Up And Some Advances...

The two groups waited for their orders so they decided to chat amongst each other so they would eat up the waiting time which they didn't mind.

"So, how's everyone been?" Ochako started with a soft smile towards them

"We've been alright, nothing much is going on." Hanta answered

"What a lie dude, you didn't even tell us about you and Shouto dating until earlier!" Denki said, feigning betrayal in his voice

"They shouldn't feel obligated to tell us anything, Denki-san." Momo giggled

"I know but still, I feel betrayed!" Denki huffed, crossing his arms making the others chuckle

"It's not like we were going to not tell y'all, we planned on doing it but... well, we got carried away and hung out with each other." Hanta sheepishly said as Shouto blushed at his boyfriend's statement

"Get a room, you two!" Eijirou laughed

"Either way, we are happy for the both of you." Tenya said kind of fatherly

"Yes, please do refrain from doing anything sexual in public for it might not turn out well." Tsuyu frankly advised making the new couple flush

"O- of course! Right, Sho?" Hanta said and looked at Shouto who nodded

"Yes, you can count on us." The other agreed

"They'd forget that as soon as they're in the heat of the moment." Hitoshi said

"Definitely, take it from me." Mina added which resulted in Eijirou going stiff and blushing as red as his hair

"Mina babe..." The redhead said, feeling like he was going to sink into his seat from embarrassment

Katsuki fake gagged.
"Ew, stop with the TMI!" He barked making the others laugh

"Well anyways, me and Kyouka have been good. Nothing major is going on but we're planning to start living together soon." Momo said, changing the subject

"Oh, that's great!" Ochako exclaimed and clapped

"Yeah, congrats you two." Hitoshi added with a smile

"Thanks guys, we haven't settled on a place yet but we're working on it." Kyouka stated with a light pink flush on her cheeks

"If you ever need help, just know we are here." Tenya reassured

"Ye- yes! I- I thi- think I c- can su- suggest s- some p- places since m- me an- and mom l- looked a- around be- before m- moving here." Izuku said shyly because he felt hesitant to speak up

"That's great, Izuku! We will definitely ask about those places later, thank you." Momo replied sweetly which made Izuku happy whilst Katsuki was silently proud

They all caught up some more and chatted about a lot of things until the food came and what they had ordered were placed in front of them before those same people left once their job was done and the friends could eat altogether.

"Itadakimasu." They all said before digging in but also still chatting every once in a while. Tenya though, did not let it slide when people spoke with food still in their mouth which was understandable

"We've all caught up but Katsuki and Izuku hasn't spoken up yet." Mina pointed out which caused all of them to look towards the two she was referring to

"What d'ya want me to say?" Katsuki asked 

"No- nothing m- much ha- has ch- changed for m- me.." Izuku said

They both knew that was only half true though, there wasn't anything major but there were some changes for the both of them. The two have started to message each other very often, Katsuki would drive Izuku to school if he had the time which weirdly was everyday because the blonde will always make time for the greenette but he's not going to fucking say that in front of his friends because he'll never be able to live it down. 

Their answers did gain them some suspicious looks from the others though.

"But you've been driving Izuku to school instead of his mother or the bus." Shouto said which of course he is, he gets quite frank. He's super intelligent but he isn't the quickest when it came to these stuff

"What?!" Katsuki's friends exclaimed as they looked at Izuku's friends because they were the ones who mainly knew which were Ochako, Tsuyu, Shouto, Tenya, and Hitoshi

Izuku and Katsuki were totally quiet, the greenette was blushing hard whilst the blonde's ears were the ones going red as he coughed lightly and stuffed his mouth so he'd avoid having to answer while the smaller opposite him was definitely doing the same. 

"Can we get some answers?" Eijirou asked, intrigued

"That would be great bros." Hanta added

The greenette looked over at Katsuki, not wanting to speak up first. He didn't think that being driven to school is that big of a deal, he thought it was a really sweet gesture coming from Katsuki. It's always been his mother who drove him to his school but it was a nice change to spend that time with the blonde instead since Inko was usually with Toshinori now.

"It wasn't some arranged shit, we just ended up in the right time, right place and here we fuckin' are. Got a problem with that?" Katsuki said as he looked at their friends

"No, no! Definitely wouldn't want to get in the way of your morning dates- I mean, drives. Innocent drives to school, yep." Denki teased which caused giggles and chuckles from them

"What do you think about Katsuki driving you to school, 'Zuku?" Mina asked the greenette

"I- I fi- find it n- nice... and tho- thoughtful." Izuku answered shyly with flushed cheeks, not noticing the red eyes watching him from the opposite side of the table, proud that he was making the smaller feel that way

"It has been a while since Katsuki here has started to drive Izuku to school." Tenya said, matter of factly

"It even caused quite a commotion at first!" Ochako added

"Apparently, Katsuki was pretty famous at campus during his time in U.A., which isn't surprising." Tsuyu stated

"Well, he's always had a presence, both good and not so good." Shouto nonchalantly said which caught the others aback making them laugh 

"Oi!" Katsuki barked

One topic went from another to many more as they enjoyed the good food served to them, Katsuki and Izuku were quietly relieved that the subjects were replaced.

"By the way, where do y'all want to go after eating?" Hanta asked

"We were thinking about going shopping." Momo answered

"Oh that'd be great! I've been wanting to go to buy more clothes." Mina said

"It might be time to buy myself something new." Ochako muttered

"I can help you, 'Chako. I might find something for my siblings." Tsuyu said

"Are we going to Mitsuki-san's store?" Kyouka asked

"We can, it's close here." Katsuki answered 

"The stuff there are nice." Eijirou admitted

"S- shopping?" Izuku questioned himself quietly

"Yeah, have you never went with your Mom?" Katsuki asked him since he heard

"W- well, I ha- have... j- just not mu- much." The smaller replied

"Then I'll go around with ya." The blonde settled making the greenette smile slightly and nodded

The group finished eating, Momo invited them so she volunteered to pay, it wasn't a big deal anyways since she did have a coupon to use and the owner knew her and her family. They thanked her before they went on their merry way out of the restaurant towards the Katsuki's mom's, Mitsuki's clothes store. They walked together, staying close to their partners as they continued to chat on the way there, especially Katsuki and Izuku...

No one knew but they were close to each other, blushing to themselves because of their intertwined hands...
