Ashton: age 16
Luke: age 15

Trying to find the right person in high school is tough, being as most of the time the person you like either rejects you or has someone else. But in this case, both Luke and Ashton have someone, each other. Now, its the beginning of Junior Year and for the past 3 years their love for each other hasn't stopped. Luke has been dying to ask Ashton out, but he always chickens out because he's afraid that Ashton isn't ready for that kind of commitment. He doesn't want to ruin their friendship, thats the last thing he wants to do.

"Hey Michael, how did you ask Michelle out on a date?" Luke asked his friend by his locker before next bell.

"Um..I just asked her, why?" he asked.

"I was going to ask Ashton out, but I want it to be special," Luke said.

"Why don't you sing him a song, maybe Calum and I could help you?"

"That's perfect, thanks Mikey!" Luke said and hugged Michael then the bell rang and he saw Ashton get out of his science class and walked up to him.

"Hey Ash, let me walk you to history," Luke said.

"Thanks Luke, but you'll be late to math," Ashton giggled and Luke smiled loving the sound of his laughter.

"Yeah but I rather walk with you, so what are you doing after school?" Luke asked out of curiosity.

"I have work until 5 and then I'm free, why wanna hang out?" he asked as they reached Ashton's classroom.

"Of course why is that even a question, well I gotta go see ya!" then he started the long walk to the other side of the building where his math class was and he clutched his Nike bookbag.

Luke isn't sure what song to even sing to Ashton, all he knows it has to be perfect, just like Ashton. With his brown curly hair, hazel eyes, and dimples on each cheek he usually pokes with his thumb just to mess with him. His laugh is contagious, and it changes every day. He has a nice ass too, but he likes to keep that to himself. As he got to math, he pulled out his notebook, and instead of taking notes he started writing a song instead, for his Ashton.

Later that day, Ashton was at work and couldn't stop thinking about why Luke was acting so weird. He was staring at him all lunch period while writing in his notebook, with Calum and Michael giving him knowing looks as if they're planning something.

He didn't even bother asking, its probably nothing. After his shift at KFC was over, he said bye to his boss and biked home.

"Ash honey, can you come here please?" he heard his mum call for him.

"Yeah mum?" he asked her.

"Can you go over to Luke's and ask his mother if she has my wallet, I think I left it there from when she invited us to lunch yesterday," his mum said and he nodded in agreement seeing her wallet right on the couch but went with it anyway. Because seeing Luke sounds good right now.

Ashton isn't sure if its the fact that he's known Luke for such a long time that he knows he's planning something. Or maybe its because he likes him, like a lot. He may love him, but he's not in love with him. The best thing about Luke are his blue eyes, he always seems to get lost in them when they talk. His blonde hair is always styled to perfection, and his smile with a small dimple on his left cheek makes Ashton feel at home.

He left his house and started the 2 minute walk to Luke's house. Once he got there, he saw Liz waiting at the door.

"You're mum didn't leave her wallet," she told him.

"I figured, where's Luke?" he asked and Liz told him he's at the park.

So, he walked for 4 more minutes to the park, and he saw Luke. But with Michael and Calum.

"Hey Ashton, lovely weather we're having," Calum said and laughed while Michael and Luke turned and Luke blushed obviously nervous about what he's about to do.

"Hey Ashy, um yeah our mums helped with this small set up, but anyway I needed to ask you something but I wasn't sure how to put it in words so, I wrote a song about it, I hope you like it," he smiled and Ashton grinned and sat on the chair they had for him. There were lights on the monkey bars where they played at when they met, and when Matt pushed him off.

"Wow, that was amazing guys!" Ashton said and hugged Luke.

"Thanks, so Ash, will you go out with me?" Luke asked and Ashton kissed him then said yes multiple times.

"You didn't have to go through all this trouble just to ask me out, you could've just said so,"Ashton said.

"No way was I gonna do something basic like Michael," he said and Michael pretended to cry and Calum laughed at him.

All boys decided to just hang out at the park for the rest of the night, looking at the stars.
