*8 PART 1*

Ashton: age 18

Luke: age 17

After a very emotional graduation ceremony, and a great 2 months of summer fun, Ashton and Luke are about to face the biggest obstacle of their life. College. With 2 full scholarships to PACE University in New York City, Luke and Ashton will be living in America, far from their families. Calum and Michael are also joining them which is extra exciting, knowing the 14 years they've known each other they were able to snag two more friends into their own little squad. Now, they're all at the airport, waiting for their plane.

"I hate flying," Ashton said with his leg shaking while he held his phone in his hand.

"It won't be so bad Ash, I'll be there with you to hold your hand," Luke said placing his hand on Ashton's shaking leg.

"I like the free drinks we get," Michael said.

"You would," Calum laughed while playing angry birds on his phone.

"Plane to New York boarding now, please wait patiently as you wait to enter the plane, thank you" the intercom woman said and the boys got up from their seats, and grabbed their carry on bags with them as they waited on line to get on the plane. Once their tickets were scanned, they went through the tunnel to the plane's entrance and before they got on Luke looked Ashton in the eyes, grabbed his hand and gently kissed him. Ashton smiled and they walked to their seats. Michael and Calum sat next to each other as well giving both young lovers some space.

Once they got to their seats, Ashton pulled his laptop out and put it on the small table connected to the back of the chair in front of him.

"Mean girls or the Avengers?" Ashton asked.

The looked at each other.

"Avengers"

Once the boys reached their destination, New York City, they called a cab and made it to PACE University. They will all be studying Music, being their passion since the beginning. Once they reach the school, Calum pays the taxi guy and they all get out rushing towards the entrance and get their dorm numbers. Sadly, Ashton is rooming with someone else, a Junior named Zayn. Luke pouted when finding out about this.

"C'mon babe, don't be sad we'll see each other in class, we have those together," Ashton said and Luke gave him a small smile and found out his roommate is a dude named Niall, also a Junior.

"You're right, I just don't like the idea of a stranger sharing a room with my boyfriend,"Luke said and Ashton gave him a quick kiss and reassured him nothing will happen between him and this Zayn guy. Luke was semi-convinced still unsure of the whole thing. His boyfriend is literally the hottest thing on earth, he's afraid some random guy will swoop in and steal his man.

"Hey mate, we came here to get the full college experience and I'm sadly rooming with Michael, my experience is over already, trust me you're good," Calum said and Michael kicked him in the leg causing him to stumble a bit and knock down a book.

"Rooming with me won't be so bad Calum, I promise to keep my smelly socks away from you," Michael said.

All boys soon found their rooms and soon Ashton was in front of his and heard rock music from outside the door. He turned to his boyfriend of 4 years and saw the sad expression on his face.

"Lukey please don't make that face, it'll be fine," Ashton said and Luke nodded with his head down. Ashton lifted his chin and looked him in the eyes.

" M'sorry, I'll be ok, maybe this Zayn guy will stay away from my boyfriend so I don't have to beat him up for just looking at you for too long," Luke said and Ashton laughed knowing his boyfriend wouldn't even hurt a fly.

"Thanks prince charming," Ashton said and leaned in and kissed his lips deeply. He lifted his hand up and placed it on Luke's cheek before slipping his tongue into Luke's mouth. The kiss was sweet and passionate causing Luke to smile through the kiss. He pecked Ashton's lips once more before pulling away and grinning at his boyfriend who was also smiling at him.

"I'll see you at first lesson ok?" Ashton asked and Luke nodded before he left down the hall turning right to his dorm room where his roommate is probably in already.

He knocked twice before hearing an Irish accent telling him to come in. he entered the room and saw a Justin Bieber poster, along with a few of Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande. He swears he thought he entered a girl's dorm.

"Oh hey, I'm Niall Horan, you must be Luke," Niall said shaking Luke's hand.

"Yup, I'm Luke Hemmings, and I uh..love what you've done with the place," he said.

"I know what you're thinking, man this guy is really gay, well I am so.." Niall said and Luke nodded.

"Well that's ok, I'm gay as well, my boyfriend and I along with our two best friends are on this floor," Luke said.

"Yeah? That's cool, what's your boyfriends name?" Niall asked.

"Ashton Irwin," Luke said smiling mentioning his boyfriends name.

"Cool name, who's his roommate?" Niall asked.

"Some guy named Zayn," Luke said and Niall's eyes widened and he opened the door and checked to see if anyone was in the hallway and closed the door quickly.

"Zayn Malik?! Oh my god he's the school's biggest player, he sees any attractive guy and bam! Hooks up with them, single or not, Luke, on a scale of one to ten, how hot is Ashton?" Niall asked covering his eyes.

"Solid 15," Luke said and went through his phone pictures and showed it to Niall.

"He's gorgeous, this is awful!" Niall said and Luke just kept staring at the photo he took of Ashton, the day he said yes to being his boyfriend. Sadly, how long will he be able to call him that?
