Ashton: age 18

Luke: age 17

After Luke asked Ashton out they went on date after date after date. Then, Luke asked Ashton to be his boyfriend and he agreed without hesitation. Their mums are so happy for them, that they started planning their wedding already. Ashton does miss his dad sometimes, but he knows his family is enough with Luke being in the picture. Plus Michael and Calum, who they basically adopted as their own since their parents are barely around for them. Now, its their senior year and prom is just around the corner.

"Mum, do I really need to go tux shopping?" Ashton groaned as his mum basically threw him in the car.

"Yes, no son of mine is going to look unkempt at prom of all things, with a certain someone as their date," she smirked through the rearview mirror.

Ashton blushed at the thought of Luke in a suit. He asked Ashton to prom in the cutest way, by spelling 'PROM?' out with drum sticks.

"Alright, just don't embarass me in front of the guy at the counter again please," he said as they reached the local mall.

"No promises, and to make it more fun I invited Calum with us, Michael's with Luke so I thought you guys could pick together," she said as they got out of the car.

"Thanks mum!" he said and hugged her and rushed over to Calum who was waiting at the front of the mall.

"Wait up Ash, I'm the one with the credit card remember?" his mum shouted as she caught up to her son and his friend.

"Right, sorry," he said and then they took the escalator to the tuxedo shop where the guy his mum liked, named Jay, worked. He's always giving her free coupons and discounts, and you know what that means...

"I'll wait for you boys up front, go look," she said and they took off to search for their tuxes.

"Should we match?" Calum joked and Ashton laughed and hit him upside the head with a tie.

"What color tie should I get?"Ashton asked.

"Blue, to match Luke's eyes," Calum said in a girly voice while batting his eyelashes causing Ashton to hit him again but with a hanger.

"Alright, what color are you getting?" he asked.

"Red," Calum responded.

They finally found their ties and tuxedos and Jay rang them up, discounting the items as usual as his mum looked at him fondly, and Ashton cringed at how she was acting in front of him and his friend.

Around the same time, Luke and his mum with Michael were also shopping but in a different place.

"I hate tuxes, I'm punk rock!" Michael said as they left the shop.

"Yeah, so punk rock you cried during Marley and Me ," Luke said.

"Shut up Luke, now you ready for prom?" he asked.

"Yeah, you?"

"Definitely, the free food, c'mon man who wouldn't be excited?" Michael said causing Luke's mum Liz to laugh.

When they reached the Hemmings household, both boys got out of the car and decided to play FIFA 2015 until Michaels mom picked him up. Prom is tomorrow, and Michael would sleep over but his mum wants him to take photos with his date Michelle, who he's been dating since freshman year.

Michael's mom finally showed up, and Luke got a text from Ashton

A: Hey Lukey ;)

L: Hey Ash, whats up? :-)

A: So, my mum wants us at my place around 6 before prom to take photos, did your mum plan anything already?

L: No she didn't I'll let her know

A: Did you get your suit?

L: yeah

A: I bet you look hot in it

L: likewise ;)

A: Lol, well I gotta go bye x

L: bye Ash xx

Its Prom.

Luke is literally freaking out, what if he trips? Or steps on Ashton's feet while they slow dance? Or worse, spill punch on him!?! He quickly got rid of those thoughts once his mum called him downstairs to get to Ashton's house to take pictures.

"Oh Luke, you look so handsome, smile!" she said and Luke flashed a big smile as his mum took his photo.

"Ok, lets go," she said as they walked over to Ashton's place where his mum had a camera set up.

"Liz, Luke!" she greeted.

"Hey Anne, need help?" she asked.

"Just get the boys together for some photos, their inside playing the Wii, on prom night!" she exclaimed.

Luke told his mum he would get them himself, and he walked inside and his heart literally dropped. There, standing next to Michael was Ashton in a suit and Luke wanted to do nothing more than to rip it off of him because damn, he has a hot boyfriend.

"Luke? You ok babe?" he heard Ashton say waving his hand in his face.

"Um..yeah..um. you look...um god you look hot as fuck!" Luke said and Ashton laughed and kissed him making Luke's head spin.

"I like kissing you," Luke said and Ashton smirked and Calum called them both to take photos.

They took a group shot then one of Luke and Ashton, then Michael with his date, and Calum with his. Soon, they reached the venue, and danced the night away.

"I had a great time Luke, even if you stepped on my foot," he laughed.

"Hey! I was graceful as a swan," Luke said in defense.

"Yeah, a swan who just got shot in the leg" Michael said and they all laughed while Calum and Michael left home leaving the two teens alone.

"We're graduating soon," Luke said.

"Yeah, I'm a little scared though," Ashton said.

"Why?"

"Because, just thinking about my future scares me, what if I don't make it through?" Ashton asked with fear in his eyes.

"You will, because you have me by your side," Luke said kissing his cheek.

"We'll be together forever, right Lukey?" Ashton asked.

"Of course Ash, I wouldn't have it any other way," Luke said and they kissed for a solid 2 minutes said their 'I love you's' until Ashton had to leave, leaving Luke standing there watching his boyfriend walk off, thinking about the great future he will have with him.
