Aurora was down in the lab standing next to Leo while they watched Mr.Davenport test the three bionic teenagers reflexes.
It was finally summer vacation and one may think that they were doing something incredibly fun or at least not still at home.
Instead of that, Aurora's been watching Adam, Bree, and Chase be tortured by their training for the past three hours and she honestly felt bad that they couldn't catch a break.
The three teenagers had braces around their necks that Mr.Davenport was controlling and by the looks of it, they wanted to be anywhere else but here.
"Okay, now we'll check your bionic reflexes. First the left arm." Mr.Davenport said as he pushed a button and each of them slapped one another.
Adam let out a yell as him and Bree's faces contorted into one of pain. Chase on the other hand had a large grin on his face since he didn't get hit this time.
"Are you trying to kill them?!" Aurora shrieked as she watched the two hold their heads in pain.
"Okay, now the right arm." Mr.Davenport said next as he pressed a button and this time Bree started the chain of slapping, hitting both Adam and Chase.
"Well at least Bree didn't get hurt this time." Aurora shrugged making Chase and Adam look over to her with a glare while she gave them a sheepish grin.
"Ohh! Oh, I hate this game!" Adam yelled as him and Chase tried not to scream out of pain.
"Okay, Adam. Well, you can sit this one out. I'll just do Bree and Chase." Mr.Davenport told him and Adam only got one second of relief before Mr.Davenport pressed the button and this time both Bree and Chase hit him.
Adam let out a yell of surprise while Chase took in this moment to make fun of his brother and Aurora simply face palmed in the back.
"Come on, Big D, it's summer vacation! Let's hit the beach. Slap on some shorts and show everyone your pasty little walking sticks!" Leo said with a bright smile, attempting to convince Mr.Davenport.
"Yeah! It's like 96 degrees out, and the beach isn't too far from here." Aurora said while Leo nodded, pointing at her in agreement.
"Not now, Leo, Aurora. We're doing some routine bionic chip maintenance. Besides, this is fun, right, guys?" Mr.Davenport asked the three bionic teenagers who looked completely exhausted.
"Good times." Adam said sarcastically form his spot on the console. "A blast." Chase said with an unenthusiastic tone. "Okay, are we done here? I wanna go be normal for a while!" Bree said bluntly as she ripped her brace off and threw it.
What she hadn't seen was Tasha who entered the lab with cups full of lemonade that she placed on a tray. Bree ended up throwing it at the machine which started sparking causing Tasha to drop the lemonade out of surprise.
