Aurora Florence had once again been roped into an activity by the infamous Davenports. Although, this time she was trying out to be a cheerleader with Bree and Adam.
She's normally not the cheerleading type because quite frankly the girls on that team aggravated her a little because they always thought that they were better than everyone.
But she had to remind herself that she was trying out because this was something that Bree and Adam wanted to do and what kind of friend would she be if she didn't support them?
So here she was standing in the cafeteria of Mission Creek High along with the two siblings who were currently arguing on who was going to try out first.
"No! No!" Bree protested but Adam kept on pleading causing the girl to finally agree as she said, "Okay, fine!"
"I'll think of a number between one and five and if you guess it right, you can try out before me." Bree proposed an offer and guessing by the smirk on her face Aurora already knew she was going to trick Adam.
"Hmm... Four!" Adam guessed after thinking about it for a couple seconds while Bree simply shook her head saying, "Nope, you lose."
As Bree began walking away Adam asked out loud, "How do you always win that game?"
"Maybe it's because you fall for it every single time." Aurora emphasized before grabbing onto Adam's wrist and dragging him to where Bree was.
The three lined up along with the other students who were trying out while Stephanie began calling out some of the names.
"Next we have Riley, Bella, Olive, Siri, and Tommy." The blonde girl listed off and once those people came and lined up in front of her with excited grins she didn't waste any time in crushing all of their hope.
"Uh, that's a no. No. Never. Nice try. And... You might wanna think about tennis. Bye! Totes thanks for coming!" Stephanie said after she went down the line and humiliated every single person causing Aurora to roll her eyes.
"I can't believe this girl." Aurora scoffed as she glared daggers into the back of Stephanie's head causing Bree to lightly nudge the girl.
"I know you would rather be anywhere else right now but I need you here Aurora. I don't know why but you're like my good luck charm and doing this without you wouldn't be nearly as much fun." Bree turned to face the girl and Aurora's eyes softened because she truly didn't realize how much of an impact she made on Bree until now.
"Alright fine but you totally owe me for this." Aurora playfully rolled her eyes but even Bree could see the small smile on her lips that she failed to hide.
"I'll buy you a milkshake from Delilah's?" Bree offered causing the redhead's face to light up as she shook the brunette's hand saying, "Deal."
Getting milkshakes from Delilah's diner had soon become an after school tradition for the two girls and it was a moment that they only shared together which is what made it so special.
