The next morning after breakfast, Leo and Aurora were entering the lab to check up on Adam, Bree, and Chase.
The elevator doors opened and Leo was whistling, clearly having gotten a good night's sleep.
Meanwhile, Aurora was trudging along behind him still exhausted from trying to get to the bionic teenagers to actually shut up and sleep last night.
Not to mention Leo came into the guest room where Aurora was sleeping in last night because he had a nightmare. He ended up kicking her and snoring all night, so of course it made sense for him to be the one that's actually in a good mood.
As Leo pushed the red button and the lab doors opened he greeted the teens before his jaw fell in shock. "Good morn—Aaahh!"
"Would you shut- Oh my god!" Aurora screamed once her and Leo saw the mess in the lab.
The chairs in the lab were all turned over, there were papers all over the floor, and in the middle of the lab was Adam sleeping in an inflatable raft.
"Leo? Aurora? Is that you?" Chase asked in a hurry and Aurora's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she watched him look around for them.
"What happened?! All we did was go to sleep!" Leo yelled in disbelief.
While Leo and Chase were talking Aurora noticed Adam who was still sound asleep in the raft. She rolled her eyes before grabbing a thumbtack that was on one of the desks and tiptoeing over to where he was.
Once she was close enough she stuck the needle into the yellow raft and slightly jumped once the raft popped.
She had to slap her hand over her mouth to conceal her laughter once Adam suddenly jumped up screaming.
Her plan to hide her laughter failed and by now she was on the ground literally dying from laughter at Adam's confusion.
What made her laugh even harder was seeing Chase trip over his feet and fall flat on the ground.
"I'm okay." Chase called out from his spot and after Aurora had time to catch her breath she walked over to where he was and quickly helped him up off of the ground.
"Leo is that you? You have really long hair now." Chase said as he played with Aurora's hair and started touching her face making her glare at him before swatting his hand away. "No you idiot, It's Aurora."
"Buddy up what's." Adam said once Leo walked over to him making Aurora furrow her brows in confusion as he started speaking backwards.
"He sounds different." Leo pointed out the obvious as he turned to Chase for answers.
"Oh really, none of us could figure that out." Aurora said sarcastically making Leo narrow his eyes at her.
"Yeah, that's 'cause he can only speak backwards. It was fun for about the first five minutes—Now I just want to rip his head off." Chase said bluntly as he held onto Aurora's shoulders for support since he couldn't see.
