It was yet another busy weekend at the Davenport-Dooley house hold. Everyone was doing different activities and to anyone else they would probably look crazy. Aurora, Chase, and Bree were playing catch, Adam was bench pressing Leo, and Mr.Davenport was testing out one of his new inventions that was placed on top of his head.
"Yes, Mom. Leo and I love our new home. Oh, you should come and visit." Tasha said hesitantly over the phone.
Aurora's face brightened up when she heard that, she loved Grandma Rose and seeing as though Aurora and Leo were always close she's been able to meet Grandma Rose several of times and at this point Aurora was basically like her granddaughter.
"467, 468-- Put some muscle in it. 469..." Leo counted.
"Shh! I'm picking up radio free Singapore." Mr.Davenport said to Leo before standing on one foot and singing in a foreign language.
"That's gonna be a hit. You mark my words." Mr.Davenport told them which made Aurora give him a funny look from across the living room, "Yeah, okay." She said before catching the ball that Chase threw her way.
"But not today. Why? Because Donald's not feeling well. Look, I gotta go. He just threw up in my purse. Love you, bye!" Tasha said making up an excuse and quickly ending the phone call with her mom.
Mr.Davenport sent her a confused look saying, "You know, we're gonna have to have your mother over eventually."
"No, we don't. Look, my mom doesn't just visit. She has inspections. If she spots anything weird, she will use it as an excuse for her to move in." Tasha told him.
"I love Grandma Rose, but Tasha's right I would know because I was there when she used to visit their old house." Aurora spoke up which caused Tasha to point at her in agreement.
Bree super speeds over them to catch the ball that Aurora threw before saying, "Nothing weird here."
"Honey, when your mother visits, I will shower her with love, I will make her feel welcome and I will do anything humanly possible to--" Mr.Davenport started but got cut off by the doorbell ringing.
"It's my mother!" Tasha gasped and Aurora turned her head to the smart home system, only to see Rose looking through one of their security cameras.
"I'll be in the lab." Mr.Davenport said before running out of the room.
"So much for showering her with love!" Aurora called out to him sarcastically. "Quick! Turn invisible!" Tasha yelled, frantically looking between the three bionic teenagers.
The five exchanged confused looks which caused Tasha to let out a sigh of frustration saying, " Oh, come on, you have every other freaky ability. Just run and hide."
Adam, Bree, and Chase ran to hide behind the kitchen counter while Leo, Aurora, and Tasha stood near the door.
"Oh, good. It's unlocked." Rose said coming inside and closing the door behind her. "Mom! You're here." Tasha said in false surprise before hugging her mom.
