Chapter 14: Day Out

TORI'S POV

Phantom and Ronnie have moved in together while I am still single. I'm really starting to like Jacky again though. I finished flat ironing my hair and admired myself in the mirror. Jacky and I were going to hang out today which I was extremley happy about. I slipped on my shoes as the doorbell rang.

"COMING!" I called, doing one final check on my hair and opening the door.

"Hey!" He greeted me with his huge, charming smile.

"Hey!" I said back, hugging him. I took in his scent and let my face rest against his chest for a second before I came back to reality. I let go of him and looked at him with an awkward smile.

"Ready to go?" He asked, breaking our small moment of silence. I nodded and locked my front door  before following him to his car. He opened up the car door for me and I smiled and thanked him. He climbed in the drivers side, starting up the car. He drove us to the mall first and I drug him directly to Hot Topic. I bought a couple things there before walking into a store with cute clothes. I was looking through the racks, Jacky standing awkwardly behind me, when this lady started searching through clothes on the same rack as me, almost on top of me.

She didn't say excuse me or anything, she just barged right in. I took a deep breath, turned to her and tapped her on the shoulder.

"Hey, there sweetcheeks, I see your hands, you know what you can do? Is PIPE THE FUCK DOWN!" I told her and she looked at me with wide eyes and backed away. "When you want to look at something and somebody's in your way, you say 'excuse me' "I smiled as I picked a few clothes from the rack. I turned around to face Jacky and his face was ghost white. "You look like you've jut seen a ghost Jack-jack." I chuckled, patting his cheek.

"J-Just... I didn't expect that to happen." He said, following me to the dressing room.

"Well, it did, did you see her? She was basically on top of me!" I exclaimed as I entered the dressing room.

"I-I guess." Jacky stuttered. I bought a couple shirts before leaving that store. The food court was upstairs so we had to use the escalator. Jacky and I were calmly walking, laughing and talking when this person ran in front of us, tottaly cutting us off at the escalator. I glared at the guy as I stepped on, Jacky right behind me. I slowly stepped up to the step behind him, shaking Jacky's hand free of mine who was trying to stop me.

"Tori!" He called. I continued on my journey and finnaly made it to the step behind him. I got really close to his ear and whispered "pipe the fuck down" before going back down to Jacky. He looked at me strangley and I nodded at him with a devious smile.

"These are moving stairs, and I'm right behind you the whole time, what are you trying to accomplish?" I asked him. He widened his eyes and turned back around. I turned back to Jacky and he looked like he'd seen a ghost again. 

"Some people just need to pipe the fuck down." I said simply as we reached the 2nd floor. We walked to the food court and I chose to be healthy and have subway. I got in line while Jacky went to a pizza restraunt. The guy in front of me was ordering and he reached his whole hand across the glass barrier to point to what he wanted. He finished ordering and was digging money out of his wallet when I tapped on his shoulder. I proceeded to tell him "pipe the fuck down" with a friendly smile. "This glass barrier is there for a reason!" I explained to him. He payed, grabbed his food and ran off. I ordered my food and saw Jacky waving me over.

"God, everyone is pissing me off today." I said, shoving the sandwich in my mouth.

"I can tell." He chuckled. "So, where do you wanna go after we're done here?" He asked me.

"Maybe the zoo and the movies?" I suggested. "Oh, do you mind taking me grocery shopping, I need to buy some stuff to stock up the fridge." I said, taking another bite.

"Sure, and not a problem." I smiled at him and swallowed the bite I had in my mouth. We threw away our trash, went to a couple more stores and made it to the zoo to kill some time before the movie started. We payed and ran in like a couple of little kids. We walked around, looking at all the animals. We looked at the fish and there was a 40 something year old man, banging on the glass to get the fish's attention. I walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Pipe the fuck down. The barrier is there for a reason! NOT for you to bang on it and torture the poor fish!" I exclaimed and he looked at me, speechless. I smiled and walked back over to Jacky. We got some cotton candy and some animal hats before we got bored. We had an hour until the movie so we decided to go grocery shopping, take the food back to my house and go to the theater. We entered Walmart and I went straight to the fruits. I picked up an orange when a ghost hand reached rigfht in front of my face, grabbing herself an orange. I turned to her and she just looked down at me.

"You miss, can pipe the fuck down! If you wanted to get an orange, you could've said 'excuse me' and been polite about it. Then we wouldn't have this awkward exchange of words." She just looked at me wordlessley and walked away. I grabbed a few oranges and continued my shopping. I bought all the items and we drove back to my place, placing it all in my fridge. We went to the theatre and bought two tickets to see Les Miserables. It was one of my all time favorite movies. We got our food and walked in. There was one seat between me and a group of two people. The movie started and my eyes were glued to the screen. I heard the person next to me singing and I started to twitch. At least I had the decency to mouth the words.

I leaned over and started to whisper in their ear. "Hey, I'm pretty sure I came to eat my popcorn, watch the movie and listen to them sing, not you! If I wanted to hear you sing, I'd sit outside your shower and listen." I said and leaned back over. After a few songs, I heard them singing again and I was twitching hard core. I shoved a handful of popcorn in my mouth leaned back over and looked them dead in the face. "Pipe the fuck down!" I said and I leaned back over to Jacky, slowy chewing the popcorn since it was alot. I cuddled into Jacky's strong frame and continued to watch the movie. I sat back up and looked over at Jacky. He smiled at me and grabbed my face, closing the space in between our faces.

I melted into the kiss and tangled my fingers in his, now blonde hair. This kiss felt natural, better than any kisses with Ryan. We broke and he smiled down at me. I cuddled into him again and watched the rest of the movie. We walked out and Jacky wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me close to his body. I leaned my head on his muscly and tattoed arm as we walked out to his car.

"God I love that movie!" I exclaimed as he pulled out of the parking lot.

"So did I." He added with a smile. "It was really interesting." I nodded and he smiled. We talked about the movie the whole way back to my house. He walked me up to my door and I unlocked it. I stood in the doorway and just stared up at Jacky. He may be the shortest in the band, but he's still taller than me. He walked closer to me and placed a hand on my hip. Our lips connected for the second time tonight and I wrapped my arms around his neck, deeping the kiss. I stood on the very tips of my toes so he didn't have to bend down so much. We broke for air and he smiled down at me.

"Victoria, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, out of breath but sweetly. I walked closer to him and tightly hugged him, nuzzling my face into his strong chest. I looked up at him and his blue eyes were full of hope as he bit his lip.

"Of course." Those two words made his face light up like a little kid on Christmas. He looked down at me and hugged me tightly. He kissed my lips lightly and released me from his grip.

"Night Tori." He smiled at me as he walked away. I just stood at my doorway until his car pulled out of sight. I closed the door and leaned against it, sliding down. My smile was stretched wide across my face and was not going to go away anytime soon. I dragged myself up the stairs, dressed into my pj's and fell into a deep sleep, dreams filled with Jacky.
