Walking outside in the wood became a habit for Zayn and Lauren; everyday he wakes her up in the morning, feeds her the breakfast, helps her to wear her clothes, and then takes her out.

She was enjoying these 30 minutes of walking so much; she was waiting excitedly until Zayn comes to her room in the morning with the breakfast so she can eat it and then get outside. These small minutes of inhaling fresh air were making her feel better, much better.

He was so happy to see her smiling again and doing some of the things she used to do before. He was so happy to see her walking and eating again, he was so happy to see her talking to him and opening her heart for him just like how she used to do in the past.

Watching her recovering was just like watching a child growing up; when you look at the child uttering his first words, making his first steps, and eating his first bites.

But that stopped suddenly..

those last days broke all the hopes that she built in getting back to the normal girl she dreamed of being when she came to London.

Zayn thought she's becoming fine, he thought that she's coming back to enjoy her life but that suddenly stopped. He was staring at her now in worry as she leaned down and heaved, grasping the tree brunch, retching and gagging repeatedly. One of his hands was holding back her hair while the other one was stroking her back softly, murmuring comforting words to her as his heart cracked in pain at how hurt she looked.

Her throat ached and burned as she coughed. she took a deep breath followed by another wave of vomit that caused the pain to increase. "It's okay babe, let it all out." He whispered softly to her.

Finally, the vomit stopped. She coughed few times and took deep breathes in order to calm herself down. Her heart was pounding rapidly in her chest and her hands were shaking.

"It's okay, you're good, you're good." He encouraged as he took out a tissue from his pocket and wiped her mouth. She shuddered and wined, her hand reaching up and grabbing his, "I'm... I'm tired." She cried out, two big tears falling from her eyes and rolling down her pale face.

"Shhhh, it's okay love, it's over now." He whispered and kissed her hand, "We'll go home now, don't worry."

She nodded and tried to lift her head up but she felt dizziness suddenly crash over her. She closed her eyes and tightened her grip over his hand, her knees getting weaker.

She decided to try again, she took a deep breath and opened her eyes, trying to lift her head up again but she couldn't; her body was so weak and she wasn't able to move a muscle from her body. She felt exhausted that even standing up seemed a hard thing to do now.

"What's wrong? Are you alright, love?" he asked worriedly and wrapped his arm around her.

She shook her head and whined, the tears coming back to fall from her eyes, "I... I can't-" she tried to say but the sobs prevented her from finishing her sentence.

"What? what's the matter, honey?" he repeated his question, caressing her cheek.

"I... I can't.... i can't walk, I'm so tired."  She announced with a cry of pain. Zayn felt a lump forming in his throat as he heard her saying this. his eyes filled with tears as he swallowed hard, "That's... that's not a problem sweetheart, it's nothing." He gave her a slight smile before wrapping one arm around her back and the other one around her legs, picking her up bridal style, "I got you, I got you love."

She immediately buried her face in the crook of her neck to hide her face, embarrassed of her misery, "I'm sorry. God I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."  She mumbled in one shaky breath.
